We had a lovely time when we visited Paris and stayed at this hotel. It’s just outside of main Paris but the metro is literally at the end of the road. We stayed with our two teenage children (15 and 17). We had the family room which wasn’t massive but was fine for our needs. The beds were comfy and the room had everything you need. The toilet was small but it was fine.||I would recommend getting an uber from Charles de Gaulle airport €45 to the hotel to save you time and stress with cases. It is 45 mins away in the taxi. It meant we got there, checked in and went straight out to explore. ||To get about get a navigo card and top it up for each trip (1 trip is one way, so you need 2 trips for return). It’s like an Oyster card (uk people) The metro station is on the line 12. It starts at the station near the hotel. You can get the metro to Concorde and then catch another metro. We found the metro easy to navigate. Easier and cleaner than the tube. Apple directions tell you how many stops you need to take. We used that.||We visited the Eiffel Tower. This was lovely. Every evening it lights up, at 7pm the lights flash it’s very pretty. Definitely book tickets!!! Even booking the queues are big. ||Louvre was nice too. Book!! That was the biggest queue. ||Notre Damewe couldn’t book but went to see it from outside. Worth a see. ||Get your walking shoes on to see all the sights. We walked over 18,000 steps one day.||French people are not grumpy, everyone we met was lovely. One man even said he had heard we think the French are grumpy. I said we do not agree with this. ||The hotel staff were so lovely. All kind and keen to help. ||It’s a basic breakfast but just right. They do have bacon and egg too if you want it. ||On check out day our flight wasn’t until later so we left our cases at the hotel and got the metro to Champs Elysee and did a bit of shopping. We came back and got our uber to the hotel.||A MUST is to try the bakery opposite the metro!!! The croissants are amazing!!||I’ll be back again. When I go again I will book the Christian Dior museum. It was fully...

Read moreWe just back from Paris for the first time for Thanksgiving getaway total of 4 nights. For me for the 1st timer I don't recommend this hotel, since it was outside Paris. It was a long commute from Airport CDG (which is located north of Paris). Eiffel Tower itself is located in zone 1, 7th arrondissement and our hotel at the end of Metro Line 12, outside zone 1 or 2, on the border of 15th arrondissement, south part of Paris. We took train to our hotel it was a big mistake even though cheaper $12.50 pp but still the stairs to carry our luggage inside metro station, my gf and I had 1 medium size luggage and 1 carry on, not a good move. ||The hotel is very small and it was on the small street, suburb of Paris. Inside is clean but still not my ideal of hotel for the first time visiting Paris. The nice part is Metro 12 right on the corner, 50m/164 feet, this metro connecting to zone 1/2 inside Paris. Also, near little store called Monoprix equivalent Target here. There are 2 cute restaurants on the corners. Also bakery which we didn't see until our last day. Not sure about your package but ours didn't include resort fee, so we had to pay addl $22-23 pp. Since this is a small hotel the room is small as well but clean but the bathroom is bigger so is a plus. The AC didn't work, we cannot lower it, so we had to ask FO to shut off our the ac/central so the room can be cooling, a bit stuffy at a time, Sometimes we open our window to get a fresh air/cooling the room. Also, no mini fridge, which is no biggy since we will get a free breakfast anyway at 7ish am. :") | |On the way back we took Uber, cost us $55 + we put 5e tip. Also, we find it cheaper to use Daily Passes on metro only cost us $9.15 (refill using Navigo) unlimited rides around Paris. Definity we will visit Paris again next time and will stay longer and around arrondissement near Le Marais. À bientôt...
