You receive a heartfelt welcome into the beautiful home of David and Sabrina.
The house is 300 plus years old and is decorated in a more traditional style. It has been renovated with love to a very high standard and they are justifiably proud.
The location is brilliant being just inside the walled old city and near their impressive domed church. The secured parking is well worth it in my opinion as you are out of the way behind a locked gate as opposed to the busy narrow streets.
Numerous bars and restaurants are just a street away.
Breakfast is super with bread, preserves, pastries, ham, cheese and fruits. David is on hand to make sure you are ok and then leaves you to it.
We didn't take advantage of using the swimming pool but I believe it those who do really enjoy it

Read moreThis is an amazing hotel. From the moment we stepped through the door the experience was perfect. The hosts are friendly and attentive, and made a huge effort to speak to us in English (or very slow French so that we could communicate!) The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated, spacious, tasteful and exactly how it looks in the photographs. The interior of the hotel has been carefully restored and decorated and gives a feeling of calm and tranquility. It is ideally placed within a very short walk of the old town cafes and restaurants with parking reasonably easy to find even at peak times. The breakfast was delicious, served in a beautifully decorated dining room. The croissants were superb, the fresh fruit carefully prepared and cut, a range of jams, breads, yogurts and home made smoothies. |This hotel provides amazing value for money - a truly lovely stay for a very reasonable price....
Read moreIt's hard to say what we enjoyed most, starting with the very warm welcome from David and Sabrina, and on to the beautifully restored, period-decorated bedroom. The location was perfect for the centre of town, with many excellent restaurants (and a couple of fun wine bars) within walking distance. David escorted us to the secure, private parking which was just a minute or so away. And the hosts provided a folder full of useful information - where to visit, where to eat and more. Pity we were only on an overnight stay. Breakfast was a lovely spread catering for all tastes. And I loved the vintage camera collection! This was the perfect stop en route to the Eurotunnel, just 25 minutes away, and the best we have found after decades of making the trip across the Channel. Ingrid and I will...
