This is a little gem of a place, even in the rain. Some amazing architectural buildings surrounding the old town walls, you can imagine times gone by here. Once you walk around the little gardens and enter the ramparts arches, there are plenty of small cafes and restaurants with gorgeous smells, a little sweet shop tucked away. It's a pleasant little walk around and in one corner there is a little kids play area which is nice. More for under 8's but nice enough. Much wider than I expected so plenty of room to roam without fear of heights. Views are the only bit to let it down as Boulogne isn't as pretty as...
