Great hotel located directly next to the beautiful old city centre of Boulogne sur Mer. The new city centre is about 15 minutes walking from the hotel and the beach about 30 minutes. (Keep in mind though that the new city centre and beach are all the way down the hill, so the walk back up to the hotel won't be as easy as going down.)
The hotel has 60 rooms spread across 3 floors. It's possible to get a private parking spot at the hotel for about 8 euro's per day, however there is a huge parking terrain right across the street of the hotel where you can park for free.
In contrast to what a few others have said in the comments here, the rooms I have seen (because I wasn't alone) were all pretty much brand new and anything but outdated. Even though the hotel is next to a busy street, you won't hear any traffic sounds at all when you close the windows (because they are very well isolated).
The staff is very friendly and able to speak English and the daily cleaning of the rooms is done well. As for the Wi-Fi, the internet speed is sufficient for normal use (only 5 mbps, but the signal is strong). Using programs such as Skype, watching videos or playing games relying on an internet connection won't be an issue.
The only minor negative point I can mention is the low amount of tables during breakfast in the morning (8 tables in the main breakfast room, and a few at the bar). Which is quite low considering the hotel has 60 rooms. However, you're allowed to bring your breakfast to your hotel room and during my stay there were always a few tables free still.
All in all still a 5/5 experience. I can definitely...

The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. ||There was free wi-fi throughout the hotel which when traveling with a 5 year old and an 8 year old is essential! and it worked all the time. ||In the evening when we retuned to the hotel we sat in the bar and outside area and enjoyed some drinks. again Cyrille was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.||The buffet breakfast had a good choice and the food was fresh and well presented. The two ladies on duty were again very polite and helpful.||If you are visiting Boulogne on a short break or for business I would highly recommend this hotel which I felt offered good value for money whilst not compromising on comfort or...
