La Villa Louis — Hotel in Caen

The most wonderful B&B guesthouse experience - it's hard to find the words to describe this jem on the Normandie coast! The house is incredible - originally a grand ballroom, now a family home full of beautiful antique furniture, the guest rooms are lovingly curated, and perfectly clean with fresh towels. Our balcony looked out on the beach and La Manche, we awoke to the sound of the waves and the sun rising to greet us. Jasmin is a phenomenal host - welcoming, attentive, he loaned us bikes one day, gave us so many tips and recommendations, thank you 🙏 And the breakfast! We came downstairs to the smell of coffee and freshly baked bread and madeleines every morning, were served delicious baked eggs, croissant, homemade marmalade. The most charming and welcoming bed and breakfast I have been to. The host Jasmin is super nice and helpful and we were able to book on short notice with lots of flexibility. The rooms are colorful and amazingly decorated. Even though there was a storm outside, we felt warm and cosy inside the coral room. What a fabulous relaxing and inspiring break in Normandy! Jasmine is a truly wonderful host. He knows so much about the area and is generous in sharing all his tips. Breakfast is excellent, including local apple juice, delicious eggs and freshly baked pastries and bread.
