Pizzeria Amanti — Restaurant in Caen

The staff were great, especially the lady serving us who was super friendly and very calm throughout a very busy service. The pizzas were delicious, some of the best we've had. There is a great selection on the menu and we really liked being able to choose a tomato or creme base. The only slight issue was the timings. We ordered takeaway at 19.40 and we were told it would be ready to collect at 20.40. The restaurant was very busy with diners eating in, walk-in takeaway orders and phone orders. This was fine and we went for a walk around Lion-sur-Mer in the evening sunshine. However, when we arrived at 20.40, we still had to wait until 21.05 for our pizzas to be ready. After we’ve been declined by multiple restaurants for having a large group (6) we came across this place. The exterior wasn’t really welcoming, but when we entered the place, we entered a really cozy place. The place was not big, but the waiter (shoutout to this guy for speaking english and serving us with a big smile) did had a spot where we could sit with 6. We ordered and the food came fast, real fast. We had doubts, because the food came fast, but it were really good pizza’s. The Pizza was great and there wasn’t too much time in between ordering and receiving the pizza. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, even engaging in some smalltalk, giving a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant it self seems very comfortable, clean, welcoming and isn’t too big so it barely feels like the usual restaurant atmosphere.
