Ok so here’s what my experience was at this place….mix emotions ..some good …some not so good…
The Rooms : Check in was good, rooms were ready early and one of them had a massive upgrade to the best suite in the hotel. The other room had bugs all over the place and required a change. The staff: Professional, smiling and willing to help to resolve the bug issue immediately. No problem The Restaurant: Beautiful setting, nice music, really good ambience with good lighting The Service: Major inconsistency, several waiters coming to the table …asking the same things when you already spoke to the previous guy… Not sure if you’re order has reached the kitchen when in fact it reached it twice cause one dish was doubled …Then, a lot of unnecessary glasses, silverware crowding the table with no use for it..not removed until you finally ask….further our wine comes in glasses and not pored at the table so you can’t see the bottle and check that’s in fact it’s what you ordered …anything could have been sent without knowing what it was… The food: At total mix and match from a really good high end steak to an appetizer looking like the salad came out of a coffee shop after staying a few days out or a piece of salmon that was half cooked with another side dish missing so obviously there is a coordination issue among all the waiters and the kitchen. How ever they are really polite but young and seem to be in need of a really good training. To conclude our stay the breakfast is fantastic. There is everything you could possibly eat so overall it’s not bad but there is a lot of room for...
Read moreThe hotel looks amazing but the experience was terrible from the beginning until the end. Reception: nobody there to greet you, had to wait for 10 minutes, when the receptionist finally arrived it felt more like we were a nuisance to her and were bothering her. Gave a very unpleasant impression. Room: the room was spacious and with a nice view on the garden, furniture a bit shabby. But what they don’t tell you is that the room is right above their delivery area, so we were woken up every single morning at 6-7 a.m. by delivery trucks coming and going. You also have to go through a restaurant terrace packed with people in order to get to your room. Restaurant: if you are a client of the hotel, don’t expect to be seated at a nice table on the sunny terrace - it’s reserved for clients who are not staying at the hotel. Instead, they put you on a tiny terrace in the shade right next to the driveway so that you can breathe in the exhaust fumes of the cars while eating your dinner. Oh, and you get to listen to the screeching noise of metal chairs on paved ground. They will bring you water, but no glasses, the main dish, but no fork or knife, stone-hard bread… you get the picture. Personnel: seasonal staff, mostly young 18-20 year-olds without much experience, obviously overworked and tired. The only person who always had a smile on her face was the cleaning lady, very sweet and helpful. Don’t expect to find a manager - there is none, which explains the terrible service. Overall impression: very disappointed. Do not recommend this...

Basically service and maintenance could be better if they could afford more personnel. |Our room was usually very late serviced, the bathroom had details which lacked proper cleaning, the sofa had stains, the pool solarium had weeds growing between the pavement. |Everything I mentioned can be improved.|We had a Prestige type of room. They all differ very much in size and furnishings. The first we were assigned had no king bed so we asked for a change. In France it is common to encounter beds of 170 and 180 cm wide. The second one was very large with an oversized nice bathroom, a sofa, large writing desk and king bed 200 cm.|They serve a buffet breakfast where nothing is missing. Fresh baguettes and croissants, plus eggs, etc etc.|The restaurant is pretty, the menu is OK and the quality of food is average, and so are the prices ( very reasonable ). |The pool is nice but not heated. A detail I did not like are cats roaming around the public areas with their feeding dishes at sight.|The hotel is on a hill inside a huge park and overlooking a residential area, in the suburbs of Chambery. A car...
