B&B HOTEL Colmar Liberté — Hotel in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

The place itself is a is a little far (like 10-15 minutes with the car) from the actual city of Colmar, but it's very accessible with the car. It's also easy and free to park there. The staff was mostly very nice and friendly. Especially this elderly man, who always had the night shift. He was so sweet and caring and even helped us heat some food although it was pretty (very) late. He made us all feel very welcome and comfortable. We'd give this man 5 stars :)

The only thing we didn't like at this hotel was the room. It was very clean but too little and too narrow for three persons. And the worst thing was the showerroom/bathroom. The door is transparent!!! So you can't just shower in peace. If you're travelling with your frinds you gotta organize yourselves so there are no embarrassing situations. When we presented the problem to the staff, they couldn't help us, bcs apparently all rooms are the same way.

This was a unexpected second visit to Colmar as we had left our passports in the previous hotel we stayed in in Colmar so we returned to retrieve them…. Saturday night last minute in walking distance to town are hard to come by….but we had just done that. If you do not mind a 5 minute drive into town … this is a great hotel… a lot more for the money… extremely comfortable beds… best we had this trip…the shower was roomy and had a fun essential oils set up … it was nice…full bar at the front desk and they were very helpful and spoke great English…A/C was spot on and parking was free and easy. So if you want a very nice priced extremely comfortable hotel and don’t mind a little drive just book… if you want to step outside to experience Colmar old town then get out your checkbook if are comparing apples to apples….if we come back… knowing there is ample free parking a quick walk away from old town we are...

The room is clean but very noisy , lousy, whether you want it or not ,you can experience every movements of your neighbors from all direction , from speaking , walking , toilets flushing , up to making love , without opening window and door .,the room is totally not soundproofed , if you want to sleep before 1 am is not possible . , quiet is only when all the people is check out or go for sightseeing , lucky is only , that the hotel is quite far from the main road . . The quietness is only air-condition. The glasses for coffee and tea are not washed correctly, can see milk and coffee rest . Breakfast is poor , what terrible is pre boiled egg , don’t know , how many days already cooked, cold, sauer and already rot but served for breakfast .
