We stayed at the chalet in February for 4 nights and had a great time. We booked a private transfer via Alp2alps which was a 1hr45min trip, just give your flight details and they will pick up and drop off to the door. The room was ready early for us and was a great size (Room 8). Ainsley and her team are very helpful and even helped order a takeaway for us on our first night. The breakfast selection was great and they even catered for someone in our group who was vegan.|The location is a 30 second walk from the slopes with direct access to the chair lift which never had a queue. The spa area had a sauna and large hot tub which was great after a long day on the slopes.|Within 5 mins walk there is a great selection of restaurants and shops. Smithy’s Tavern had great food and had all the sports games on tv (Book in advance).|On our first night we did the Sarenne by night which was a great experience watching the sunset across the mountains and then ski down in the dark with head torches. |I have stayed in multiple chalets and this was by far the best and would...
Read moreAinsley and Stefane were incredible hosts from picking us up from the drop off location to always being available should they be needed. The rooms were spacious and homely as well as serviced daily. As a family of 5, we hand plenty of room and the breakfast was brilliant. We didn’t use the balcony much but it had stunning views from the rooms. ||The staff were all great but a special mention to Alexandra for making the best cocktails, for being so caring and making our children feel extra special! ||The giant sized hot tub and sauna were great and available from 4ish until late - it was rarely busy so it was great to relax in. The boot room was easily accessible and the nearest piste only 50m down the road. The lift made life easier and the whole place was secure due to code access. The main centre is about 5/10 minutes walk up hill and we would highly recommend booking restaurants in advance during busy periods. ||Overall, we will return at some stage when we next visit...
Read moreStayed for a week with a cycling group to ride beautiful and challenging tours of the local routes and passages. Our host Ainsley and her crew provided the very best possible environment for tired and hungry cyclists to rest, recover and replenish. No aspect of our stay was lacking or compromised. Fresh food, incredibly comfortable beds, large hot tub, inviting communal spaces, sunny decks, views and plenty of privacy are provided. This chalet is walking distance to grocery, restaurants, post office, shopping, hiking and biking trails, etc. No need to go out for the best coffee or cocktails either! Having experience in private lodging and hospitality, I know the attention to detail, hard work and thoughtfulness it takes to provide the top notch accomodations I enjoyed at Camigane. Ainsley and her crew nail it start to finish. I cannot...
