Excellent Pizza and super host/proprietor. We arrived late for our booking due to a delayed Taxi but we were still welcomed and enjoyed a very nice meal and bottle of wine. All pizzas are prepared by hand with the best of local ingredients and organic flour. The cheese was particularly good. We then asked for assistance to order a taxi as the taxi that brought us was finished for the evening. The proprietor was very accommodating and phoned a few but there was no answer from any. (Seems to be a usual issue in Alpe D’Huez). Then she very kindly offered to give us a lift in her own car to our Chalet which was too far away and uphill to walk. I wish I could give 6 stars! On our first night to Alpe d'Huez, we arrived after everything closed, we were walking and around we noticed the lights were on and the door was cracked open, the place was closed, but the owner invited us in, saying the oven was still warm and she would make us a pizza! It was a great pizza!

On our last night staying we decided we needed to go back for some pizza, this time when we arrived, the owner once again gave us a very warm welcome and gave the background of how her family recipe in the fresh sauce and how she makes her own dough.

Je dois dire que les pizzas que nous avons mangées sont de loin les meilleures que j'ai jamais mangées dans ma vie, et cela vient d'une personne qui a mangé beaucoup trop de pizzas! Je suis un grand fan de pizzas, c'est mon plat préféré, et je peux dire sans aucun doute que ces pizzas sont mon top 1 absolu.

La pâte était incroyablement fine et parfaite, faite maison avec une qualité exceptionnelle. Elle était croustillante et absolument délicieuse. Je suis vraiment impressionné par la qualité de la pâte, c'est les meilleures que j'ai jamais goûtées.

Je dois mentionner que mon père est commerçant et ancien pizzaiolo, donc je sais ce que je dis quand je parle de pizzas. Et ces pizzas sont vraiment exceptionnelles. La patronne était adorable et une crème parmi les crèmes, d'une gentillesse totale. Elle a vraiment rendu notre expérience culinaire très agréable. Nous avons été super bien reçus en famille et avons vraiment apprécié chaque secondes.
