Le Grand Comptoir — Restaurant in Grenoble

The worst experience I've ever had. The waiter was extremely rude and arrogant. I asked him for the menu when we arrived and he answered in an impolite manner that it's on the table. We chose our drinks and waited for him to come and take the order but he kept ignoring us even though he wasn't doing anything. Eventually I got up and went to him and asked for two Monaco beers. As he was preparing them I watched him from the distance and I saw that he poured almost whole glass of lemonade and very little beer plus some grenadine. After he brought the drinks I told him this is not how Monaco beer is made but he pretended that he doesn't understand English. I asked him to call his colleague but he said his colleague doesn't speak English either and he is not here. I told him I don't want this drink and I won't pay for that as he intentionally made it wrong. He then said he will call police if we don't pay. At that moment a French customer sitting close to us offered that he will speak to the waiter and asked what is his problem as he didn't like waiter's arrogance either. After a minute chat the waiter took our glasses on poured more beer in them but still the proportion was like 4 parts of lemonade to 1 part of beer. We didn't want to get police involved and miss our flight so we paid but we felt cheated and treated bad probably because we didn't...
