Ottimo Albergo nella storica Nevers sulla Loira e ottimo ristorante. Purtroppo ho soggiornato una sola notte. La stanza era bella spaziosa, un letto doppio, un bel tavolo con 2 sedie, una TV di buone dimensioni e un bollitore per the e caffè. Buona anche la colazione com'è di tradizione dei Mercure. Il ristorante offre menù a prezzo fisso e portate raffinate create da un buon chef. percheggio esterno e privato. Che dire: ottima serata

I've been here another time, August 12, 2022 with much more than 30 degrees outside, and unfortunately I should review the previous one. The Hotel sent me an email after I booked saying they can't provide dinner in the restaurant. I didn't complain about this. However once arrived and come in the room I noticed the air conditioning is not working at all, with 27.5 degrees in the room. After asking about the hotel they told me that other rooms have the same issue while it was working fine in the hall. Then they gave me a fan (same thing?!) saying there were no other available rooms. The hotel proactively sent me an email about the restaurant but not for this... I booked the 20th March...I have no words..I can only say that this is absolutely a not correct and not...

A very hot day today so what better than the air condition rooms of a 4 star Mercure with its dining terrace overlooking the Loire.||||Well just about anywhere else. Very faded glory for example armchairs in lounge vinyl covers torn and patches missing. Looked grubby,||||Still we will be in our air conditioned room its so hot today we will be happy.||||Oh dear paper cups for tea coffe no milk for tea but they did provide some on request. Are paper cups 4 star now?||||Air con controls are fixed to go no lower than 24.5 degrees C uncomfortably hot on hot day. Even a Best Western 3 star you could turn down to 20 even a Brit Hotel.||||Air con on for three hours while we were out (see below why we were out) still 24.5 degrees C.||||The Accord group website offered a package of dinner and breakfast for 27 and 15 respectively. The dinner choose any three courses off the menu. In reality we were given 22 euro Menu of the Day deal.||||Still its on the terrace overlooking the Loire. That will compensate. The location was great. It was only few minutes walk from the town. The hotel is situated by the river and we had a room which overlooked the river and was very quiet. The room was a reasonable size and the bathroom was very good size. However there was no safe in the room which was a surprise and disappointment. Although the decor in the bedrooms was tired they were well serviced. There was very secure parking which we paid for. The staff on reception were very helpful. | We had dinner in the hotel which we would rate 6/10. It was very acceptable. |Breakfast was the big let down. The service was not accommodating. The cooked food was very unappetising and looked as if it had not been properly cooked! The other food was only ok as the choice was not great. When I asked for the gluten free bread I was directed to one remaining roll! . In other hotels there has been better choice.
