This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. On arrival, I raised concerns about the dirt and poor condition of my room, politely asking if I could be moved to a cleaner one. After also pointing out further stains and dirt in the lift, I was told I would be refunded because the hotel “didn’t want me to stay there.” As a young woman travelling alone, I found this response deeply unsettling and intimidating. The staff member I dealt with seemed to be on a power trip, behaving in a bullying manner. She was aggressive and threatening, insisting I had to leave, despite her colleague engaging with me politely and confirming that moving me to a cleaner room was possible. I was visibly shaking from my interactions with her, with the nice man at reception witnesses. She claimed she had spoken to her manager by phone and that they had decided I could not stay. I waited two days to speak to a manager in person, as none were available when I was at the hotel. When I finally did, I was met with dismissive and standoffish behaviour. At one point, a receptionist even called me a “Karen” and said they “know people like me,” simply because I had complained. Meanwhile, a colleague of mine staying at the same time raised similar complaints and was treated completely differently, he was listened to, apologised to, offered compensation, and even given a feedback form. When I pointed out the disparity and suggested I was being unfairly treated, I was accused of “playing the race card.” I spent three days at this hotel feeling anxious, worried about my belongings and dreading interactions with staff. As I was travelling for business, I had little choice but to stay, despite the stress and discomfort. Although I eventually received an apology from the manager, who acknowledged both the hotel’s poor condition and that the staff member involved had a history of reactive behaviour, it was far too late. The damage was done. I also became unwell shortly after my stay, whether from stress or otherwise. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have recordings of most of these exchanges, which demonstrate that I remained polite and respectful throughout, I was still subjected to an appalling and discriminatory experience. The only rude thing I said was that the dirt in the lift was disgusting, this was after being gaslit and told that it’s going to be cleaned and that certain marks are unable to be removed and “its normal”. The hotel location is great, lots of lovely boutiques nearby, I love Paris and France and have visited many times. I travel all around the world for business and never had I ever experienced anything like this in my life.

We had a wonderful two night stay here - staff were so lovely, they have free water and snacks downstairs including gluten free cake (very thoughtful) and mini pizzas. Breakfast was great and varied, and they had an excellent location, easy (10-25mins) walk to Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre etc (even with the Paris Olympics closures impacting walking routes). Room quiet and had lovely robes and slippers (large 😂). Very reasonable room sizes by Parisian standards. Quirky design. Recommended - and would definitely stay again!

I stayed at 7 Eiffel for 3 nights and I absolutely loved it. The hotel has the best location in town: 2min walking from metro and about 10min from the Eiffel Tower (7 Arr.) The room was modern, very well decorated and really comfortable. As for breakfast, it was delicious and the hotel also offers free food (mini snacks) during the afternoon. Fun fact: the hotel provides umbrellas that guests can use on rainy days. This is such a great initiative and it was super useful to me.

I waited several years to write this review. This hotel implements a bait and switch trick. When renting the room for this particular hotel, I specifically informed that we had three people coming. (PLEASE BOOK TWO ROOMS FOR THREE PEOPLE, NO SUCH THING AS THREE IN A ROOM IN FRANCE- THEY WILL CHARGE YOU MORE ONCE YOU GET TO THE HOTEL- THIS IS A THING FRENCH HOTELS DO TO MAKE MORE MONEY) Upon arrival they said three people could not stay in a room. The snobby ( maybe she is just french lol) french woman went on to say that they had a sister hotel (it's like another hotel they have access to- it is a common scam in Paris to get more money out of you- sometimes this get done even if you have two people. If this happens. Don't say I didn't warm you) near by... while the area was nice... the hotel was dark and dreary, it had none of the style that this hotel clearly had. That is why I picked it! lol On top of that, they charged way more for the extra room at the other place. I jest you not the "sister hotel" was creepy and felt haunted. I am not a person who believes in spooky stuff, but this hotel will make you a believer. I did not sleep comfortably in my room alone. I would write the name of the hotel here, but I do not want to give them too much information. That is why I waited such a long time to write the review. They can not remember after several other people who went and had the same experience, but decided to be selfish and not share with the public. Just know that any "sister hotel" they send you to will be a downgrade. Be aware. If I am wrong and you get an upgrade, that's probably because they like you. This post helped you out. You are welcome! You are better off staying in an American chain hotel in Paris. It won't look dreary and haunted. I did come back to correct my writing, as I wrote it so quickly, as an imperfect person, I made mistakes in my writing. Should you find some more, I am sorry. Writing isn't my forte, but letting people know where not to stay is. Intelligence comes in a variety of different ways. Have no doubt that staying at this hotel is beyond a mistake and let your intelligence guide you: if you read this review and still decide to stay with them, I hope they treat you well because I called them out on this scam they have going. I will feel good just knowing that they will have to act right with the next patrons, because I intelligently made them do the right thing going forward. This hotel deserves this intelligent review due to their dishonest practices. Yes, look below at their comment. I think they are upset that I called them out on their scammy ways. Dear management, get your act together and this is what you get for my time being wasted with your your scammy workers. DO NOT SAY THREE PEOPLE CAN STAY IN A HOTEL IF IT'S NOT TRUE. I take your comment as a compliment, because I am highly intelligent. Muah, sending you a kiss... but not a frenchy kiss...

Terrible experience at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here for 1 night during a recent trip to Paris and would not recommend this place to anyone. First, my pregnant wife was fighting a bad cold while we were there so I asked for a couple extra tea bags. The guy working the desk refused and informed us the 2 ‘complementary’ ones left in the room were all they could provide. After asking a second time he begrudgingly offered 1 tea bag. Honestly, how much do tea bags cost? Clearly my wife was sick and we only asked for a couple more... quite ridiculous in my opinion.

Second, upon check out we were asked how many of the water bottles in the room were used. After explaining we used all three (small) bottles of water, we were informed that only 1 was complementary and that we had to pay 3.80 euro each for the other two (apparently the cost of water is equivalent to gold). We said that wasn’t clear to us as nowhere did it mention there would be a cost. We were told this information is in the guestbook... I guess we needed to read the guest book before touching or using anything in the room. I’m surprised I wasn’t charged for using the bathroom.

Third, the bed and pillows in the room were absolutely brutal. Extremely soft and saggy mattress which needs to be replaced. Pillows were lumpy and not comfortable at all.

Next, our entire floor smelled like a sewage pipe had burst. This smell also filled the elevator which made for a less than pleasant ride each time. The smell got worse during the short period of time we were there.

Finally, the front of the hotel blasts a bright purple light all night long. If you have a front facing room like we did, you’ll see the light in your room all night since the curtains essentially did nothing to block the light.

Overall this was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this...
