Tucked away on a charming Parisian side street, far from the well-trodden tourist paths, lies Le Crépuscule. The name, meaning "twilight," perfectly captures its ambiance-a warm, welcoming haven where the day's hustle fades into the simple pleasure of a perfectly cooked crêpe. This is not just another quick-stop crêperie; it's a destination that celebrates the galette (savory buckwheat crêpe) with a chef's touch and a storyteller's soul. The menu is a delightful mix of classic and inventive, but two creations are particularly worthy of a detour. The Vivaldi galette is a small masterpiece of Mediterranean flavors. The earthy, slightly nutty buckwheat base is generously topped with tender slices of roasted eggplant, creamy mozzarella that melts into delicate strings, and a rich, sweet stew of tomatoes. It's a harmonious and elegant combination that feels both rustic and refined. For those seeking a more robust, deeply savory experience, the Morteau is an unequivocal triumph. This galette is a love letter to the French countryside. The star is the Morteau sausage, a smoked sausage from the Franche-Comté region known for its firm texture and profound, smoky flavor. It's paired with a tangle of sweet, slowly stewed onions, a blanket of melted cheese, and the crowning glory: a perfectly fried egg whose golden yolk creates a luxurious sauce that binds all the components together. Each bite is a perfect symphony of smoky, sweet, rich, and savory notes. Le Crépuscule proves that the humble crêpe is a canvas for culinary artistry. It's a place that respects tradition while not being bound by it, resulting in food that is as satisfying as it is surprising. In a city famed for its haute cuisine, sometimes the most memorable meal is found folded on a plate in a cozy, unassuming spot like this.

Decided to pop into this creperie place and we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The manager is super attentive and professional. We enjoyed a sugar lemon crepe and Nutella banana crepe. Both crepe dishes were prepared pretty quickly and were delicate and delicious. Lots of fellow patrons had ordered champagne and it was lovely to hear champagne corks popping. Next time we will order champagne as well. If only we could order a cup of tea this time, our experience would have been even better, but we understand this cafe has a tiny kitchen. You must make a reservation and enjoy this creperie experience.

Was looking for something close to les invalides for a brunch. My friend and I ordered 2 lunch menu offer, which was basically a buckwheat savory crepe and a sweet normal crepe. Both were super nice I didn't try a french crepe before so didn't have much a previous benchmark 😅, but enjoyed eating them and the portions was good as well. The waiter is super nice, place was a bit small but cosy. Maybe something specific to myself it was a bit too hot in the place. It was a fun surprise given the place didn't have much reviews. Totally worth checking!

We arrived right at opening and the restaurant was full by the time we left. The server expertly handled the crowd and was attentive enough for us.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We ordered two crepes to share -- one savory, and one sweet. The restaurant split these for us and delivered each half on separate plates.

They were both very hearty and delicious. It was a great meal to top off a fantastic morning having visited nearby sights.

They do maximize their space, so you're in very close proximity to other diners; but we found this is normal in a lot of Parisian...
