I stayed in a single room this last weekend and it's been a lovely stay in a small, budget hotel with no frills. The rooms are nice, completely equipped all the basic amenities that you may need, like a desk with plemty of storage, hangers, etc. They are all ensuite with a new and clean toilet and shower. The location of the hotel is also fantastic. Lovely little neighbourhood with the metro stop of Line 11 literally on the corner which will take you to the main attractions in about 10/15 minutes! The street has plenty of other services like restaurants, cafés, a little supermarket, a pharmacies, a couple of bakeries, etc. You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the distance! ||||Breakfast is also available and it is served in your bedroom between 7 and 10 am, if I remember correctly, so you can have breakfast in your pyjamas :) It is a basic but filling breakfast with tea/coffee, juice, two pieces of bread and a lovely crunchy croissant. Nothing luxurious but just what you need to start the day. ||||The only negative point is the fact that the walls are really thin and if you happen to have noisy neighbours next door it will be a real nuisance. Unfortunately the people in the room right next to mine talked at the top of their lungs and had loud music on right after midnight so I had to knock on their wall several times. Thankfully they stopped eventually and I didn't have to report or ask for a room change at reception.||||All in all, if you are on a tight budget and want to stay in a cheap and nice place that is well located this is definitely the hotel to go. I would definitely come back and I will recommend it to my friends and family.||||À la...
Read moreI stayed in a single room. The room was basic with a bed, a desk, fridge, and some coat hangers for storage. However it was clean and that's the main thing for me and I wasn't looking for anything fancy - a waste of time when you've got a big city to explore all day! The bathroom was small although the shower was quite spacious so that was nice. There was a bit of a funny smell in the bathroom but it didn't bother me too much as I didn't spend much time in there and it was clean.||||I decided to have the breakfast for 5 euros per day which was delivered to the room at a time of your choosing during their breakfast hours (bread, croissant, butter/jam/marmalade, orange juice and a choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate) and this was a nice amount to fill me up.||||The location for me was perfect! I was looking for a hotel that was inexpensive but with easy access to the main attractions, and so this hotel being less than a minute walk from the metro station was incredibly handy! The metro is super easy to use so this was preferable to me than staying in the centre of the city. There is a supermarket just around the corner, a McDonald's and a nice Italian restaurant across the road, so plenty of useful things nearby.||||The staff I encountered were friendly and spoke good English. I was able to leave my luggage with reception on the last day after I'd checked out and collect it later, so that was a bonus.||||Overall I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for something on a budget without the frills but perfectly adequate to rest your head at night. I would...
Read moreWe stayed here on sunday 25 and monday 26 november and would really liked to have stayed longer. It's a great wee hotel with recently renovated rooms, (some rooms are still being worked on but the noise is minimal).||Our room although very small was perfect, a brilliant use of space, the 'wardrobes' are funny and functional and great night stands & lighting with an excellent modern bathroom and fantastic shower. The bed and bedding was great and definitely no bugs! There is a small functional fridge in the room and it had two free bottles of water in it. Sunday night on out arrival was a freezing, misty night and the room heating was perfect and we were really delighted with that. Btw if booking in the summer our room had a brand new air con unit.||There's a great wee authentic Parisian bar /cafe a couple of doors away, nice owners from Aubrac in the South of France with generational bar pics on the wall, btw the owner loves Ireland so if you're Irish he'll be delighted and probably show you Aubrac photos "it's like Ireland..yes.." and his and his wife's photo trips to Ireland. A Mc Donalds is also v close and there's a great pizza & wine restaurant across the street and it's very good value.||The hotel staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The 5 euro breakfast to your room is worth it and the young lady who delivered it was very polite.||Don't forget the Pyrenees metro station is...
