Hôtel Saint-Charles — Hotel in Paris

If evilness and rudeness was a hotel this is it. Worst experience in my life. First of all we booked three rooms but at arrival the hotel staff says we have four rooms, took at least 20 minutes to solve this and instead of giving us one bigger or connecting rooms as it was described in the booking we get four small rooms. Secondly by unknown reason one of our cards for payment didn’t work so we decided to pay half in cash and half by another card. When I offered during daytime to pay with the card the staff says we can do it later. Upon coming back after the day our rooms are blocked and the new staff says it’s blocked because we didn’t pay (?!I even offered to pay during day time), of course I paid immediately but as this whole situation is unacceptable we wanted to talk to the manger who next day lies to me and tells me that rooms get blocked by itself from time to time. |In the room one lamp wasn’t working. |Third thing is the breakfast buffet, not much to offer and a very rude person working here and checking how much one and each is eating. Feel extremely uncomfortable, to that point that I didn’t even want to ask for more coffee. He even asked my once why I’m taking too many croissant. Later when I asked manager why he asked me he says because people take food along with them. Of course we all know that, but to openly suspect your guest is the worst or worst. Avoid avoid avoid!!! Huge lack of professionalism and manners from the staff, especially at the reception. We were given a room on the 26/02 where the air-conditioning wasn't working and they had taken off the regulator wheel from the radiator. Can you imagine a room in paris in February with no heating at all??? Well, the guy from the reception was extremely rude and unprofessional, he straight away told me that his job wasn't to give me a warm room so I'd better go back the next morning to get my money back. That's what I did, but apparently the director wasn't there as he's the only one able to do refunds. I was only given an email address to reach the director and talk about the refund, imagine my surprise when over a month afterwards they haven't answered yet. Besides, the room hadn't been cleaned in a while, everything was disgustingly full of dust, from bed to water boiler and the walls and windows are way too thin. You'll hear everything from the street and your neighbours. Don't recommend this...

Abbiamo sogiornato in questo hotel per il nostro soggiorno a Parigi. Il quartiere è carino e piacevole, problemi di cibo non c'è ne sono ci sono diversi pub, e localini che permettono di fare colazione pranzo e cena e dopo cena senza problemi. Da evidenziare che se fate tardi ricordatevi che nel quartiere i locali chiudono presto quindi dopo le 23 noi non siamo riusciti a mangiare!.||L'hotel è e facilmente raggiungibile e ben collegato con la metro, ci siamo spostati agevolmente con la metro in Place d'Italie e di conversaut.||Se si ha voglia di camminare si arriva con 1h 40 a piedi fino all'arco di trionfo, in metro meno di 15 Min si arriva ovunque. Quindi ottima posizione e prezzo.||Struttura piacevole, pulita e personale gentile. Non  si è capito perché lasciando la chiave digitale in reception ogni giorno spariva e andava riprogrammata ma sono dettagli.||Al nostro arrivo la porta della camera non si apriva in pochi minuti ci e stata assegnata una camera nuova. Veloci ed efficienti.||La camera è dotata di ciò che serve, è presente un bollitore e tisane, ma nel frigo non viene fornito nulla quindi l'acqua acquistatela in un qualunque market.||Peccato per il bocchettone dell'aria che puntava proprio sul letto, la prima notte abbiamo avuto un po' di aria intermittente durante la notte ma nulla di grave(basta mettere l'opzione caldo e mettere la temperatura bassa per evitare che il sistema butti aria continuamente).||Letto ampio e comodo come i vari cuscini offerti per varie posizioni.||Le prese sono europee qui di se si arriva dall'Italia non servono adattatori e ci sono diverse prese a disposizione per ricaricare i vari dispositivi.||Nella nostra camera peccato mancasse una lampada affianco al letto con morsetto di corrente a vista, un po' pericoloso per chi ha bambini.||Bagno (water) piccolo senza finestra, mentre lavandino e doccia a vista sulla camera, probabilmente tipico di Parigi, la doccia è grande e comoda. Da appreezzare che ogni giorno gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati (molto positivo).||Per la colazione abbiamo scelto di mangiare in giro ed un solo giorno in hotel, colazione 12 euro cad. ricca. (Croissants, croissant con cioccolato, plumcake, baguette,salame prosciutto burro succo di frutta,uova.... Non c'è il bar per i caffè cappuccino ma la macchinetta automatica che fa tutto) Per il prezzo pagato conviene per qualche giorno anche se consigliamo ovviamente di provare le varie pasticcerie in zona.||Consigliamo questo hotel per il vostro soggiorno, camminando anche oltre Place d'Italie ci sono vie ccon tanti localettii.
