(english bellow) Résumé rapide : 30/07/2024 - nourriture copieuse et délicieuse, service agréable mais management absolument odieux qui a gâché la soirée (détail ci-dessous).

Nourriture : 5/5 - Les plats sont copieux et très bons, nous en avons eu pour notre argent ! Service : 5/5 - Le service a été agréable et rapide, mais le serveur, étudiant, a fait une erreur en indiquant à l'une des convives que les tickets restaurants étaient acceptés (or ce n'est pas le cas le soir), ce qui nous a causé de gros soucis pour la suite. Cela peut arriver à un étudiant qui débute et nous le comprenons bien sûr, mais la réaction du management a été inacceptable (voir ci-dessous). Ambiance: 4/5 - très bien, lieu vivant et bien décoré. Management: 0/5 - suite à une mauvaise indication le paiement par ticket restaurant nous a été refusé car c'était le soir. Le manager ne s'est pas excusé, a refusé un geste commercial puis a traité notre amie de façon terriblement impolie, méprisante et arrogante malgré des explications polies, puis il est devenu agressif jusqu'à ce qu'un de ses collègues le retienne et le calme. Il a également réprimandé le serveur de façon humiliante en face des clients, et n'a pas présenté le moindre mot de regret que ce soit pour l'erreur ou son attitude exécrable. Service client inexistant, en cohérence d'autres commentaires des personnes qui ont eu affaire au management. Très mauvaise expérience sur la fin mais je rajoute une étoile pour le collègue qui a calmé le manager, et est venu s'excuser auprès de mon amie par la suite, merci monsieur !

Conclusion: la nourriture et le service valent le détour, mais malheur à vous si quoi que soit ne va pas, le manager vous traitera comme un chien.

Came here right when they opened and was seated at first alone at a table of 4 later to have a couple sit at the same table as me when there were plenty of other tables they could have sat at since the place was rather empty. Ordered a salad and was happy with the size of it because it was a good portion for only 9 euro only to move a tomato and see a big black BUG crawling around!!! This was after ofcourse I had already removed a hair out of one of the tomatoes. Now hair I can tolerate because well it happens I’m an understanding person but a bug!!!!? The waitress was very nice and sweet her boss on the other hand was not. The waitress took the plate and said she’d make me a new one but by then I thought what kind of place is this if they have bugs in their food. They didn’t even offer anything to make the situation better after they didn’t have any bubbly wine. I felt like the staff besides my waitress was rather rude. Far away from the Parisian tourist trap, I found a hidden gem at affordable price in XIIIth district of Paris.

Seated in a old fashion table with wooden chairs, Gladines and her team will warmly welcome you. The waiters are highly efficient, food is fresh and quickly served in a hot pot.

Before even you start cutting with your knive your meal, french loaf will be served in a lovely basket. Take one and deep it like a French citizen in your pepper mushroom gravy. Once in my mouth, I smell a crunchy woody forest topped with pepper spice. So delicious!

Then, I delically slice my escalope. What a surprise, to see this amazing crust, filled with ham, and topped with melty emmental and mushrooms.

Stuff like a duck liver, I did not resist to take a creme caramel. What is it too much? Not at all, I dug each spoon inside this delicious dessert till the last drop of caramel.

Done, my plates were perfectly clean. Those were ready for the next customer.
