We have stayed in a few Premiere Classe hotels (some much better than others). This hotel was apparently a 'new generation' but I doubt it had anything other than a lick of paint. We arrived here at 2pm and were quite impressed with the self check in allowing us to go straight to our room. However, it all went downhill from there. Our room (4) was on the ground floor and the first thing that greeted us was the smell of stagnant water and a big coffee stain splattered up the wall (still fresh or certainly smelt it!). I have to say that with the exception of a central Paris hotel we once stayed in I have never stayed in a room so small (and I live in a caravan!). The shower was so small that I scalded my back when I knocked the tap to hot (and I mean HOT) trying to turn around - it was like showering in a tube. You could have sat on the toilet and showered if that's what you wanted! Also the fan didn't work, making the whole room steam up. The bed was Ok comfort wise, but the pillows were lumpy and really over used. My husband didn't even need to step inside the bathroom to use the toilet, but for those of us that needed to sit down, the best way was to back in & shut the door after you, Then you had the task of trying to reach the toilet roll which was about 4ft up the wall behind the toilet!! We only had 1 towel in the room and went to reception when it opened at 5pm but she was no help at all. The room was relatively quiet (apart from a very amorous couple upstairs!) until 4am when the place just came alive... There were people talking full volume on phones, doors slamming and even an argument - We can only presume that people stay here for the proximity to the airport and had early flights. The noise didn't get any better and we managed another broken hour before we gave up and got up ourselves. Breakfast was the same as all Premiere Classe Hotels, certainly not worth 5Euros, but OK if you get an...

We arrived just before 4pm, the doors were shut with a notice advising that check in was at the Kyriad Hotel across the car park. After some misunderstanding over whether we had paid or not we were allocated room 10 on the ground floor.||||The room was tiny and smelt of smoke, as it’s a no smoking hotel I can only surmise that the issue is caused by people smoking outside and the smoke drifting in. The room was clean. A standard size double bed which was ok but the pillows were lumpy. The shower cubicle is very small and even though I am very slim it was difficult to avoid getting stuck on the shower curtain. A soap dispenser is available. Towels are provided. There is free WiFi which works well. The hotel is close to a Lidl and Carfore. Local fuel prices are very competitive.||||There is outside seating. The hotel was quiet until about 5.30am when I began to hear traffic noise. ||||If you want to visit Perpignan you need to use your car although if you walk to the commercial centre there might be a bus to take you in...
