Hôtel les Sapins — Hotel in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges

😊: The location is very good and the staff who work at the hotel are also very nice, especially the lady who works in the morning (sorry, but I forgot her name). The room was clean and smelling good. Didn't hear my neighbors but I think the hotel was not full.. 😢: The overall experience was good; it's a nice hotel. However, I think the hotel should reconsider its breakfast strategy. Charging 10 euros is too expensive for what is offered.
Additionally, it's the first time I've stayed at a hotel where a coffee machine wasn't available...

We had nothing booked and just called in on the off chance of a room being available - as it was late September we weren't disappointed. We specifically asked for a twin room and were then escorted to the very top of the hotel to the far end of the corridor and shown our room. It was very small with a separate toilet and shower room all very small. To be shown a room this far from the reception we presumed the hotel was full. (it transpired there was only one other couple staying) The breakfast was OK but that's about all...

Clean hotel the staff speak a little English, enough to understand what you want anyway. The rooms are a little on the small side with an en-suite squeezed in the corner but perfectly adequate.
