Great chalet. Superb hosts. Simon and Josh were excellent (they can ski and board well enough to get to Switzerrland with you but may slow you down...) - and their food is very good. Very attentive. Getting the mini-bus in and out to the Pleney or SuperMorz or Prodains (new and super efficient to Avoriaz) couldn't have been easier and they came within minutes of being called Apres ski - which was annoying as I couldn't quite neck my pint in time.||||It is proper ski in as long as you have the snow...and Its a lovely powder run across a field. Just have to de-bind for a road and then literally you can ski into the hot tub (which does the job!)||||Good wine on offer as well in the chalet, great open fire. Plenty of hot water and boot warmers are great!!!||||Dave, thanks for all your flexibility on the transport times. A very good guy who runs the snow-candy show I guess. First time with you guys but won't be the last (if you'll have us back) Honestly the transfers were a doddle - nice hat Tom.||||Morzine has struggled for snow this month but believe me PLENTY up in Avoriaz (just there this morning and it was sheeting down snow) but it was raining in Les Gets and Morzine...but this week is forecast more. Enjoy!||||Simon and Jamie, hope you get as awesome guests as we were in...

Read moreSnowcandy.com run this 3 level chalet on the Pleney side of the stunning Morzine, a jewel in the crown of the amazing Portes du Soleil ski area straddling France and Switzerland. What it has massively in its favour is its ideal location. I have stayed there for the last two years, firstly in late March 2015 then earlier in February 2016 and both weeks it was possible to ski to and from the chalet due to great snow conditions. The chalet has great views across the rooftops to Super Morzine and also up towards Pointe de Nyon. Food is delicious and well presented and rooms are very comfortable. The staff are happy to run the minibuses at the start and end of the day to drop you off / pick you up from several lift stations. Ski room and boot-driers mean you can hit the slopes with toasty feet and dry gear. Hot tub on decking at rear of first floor.Ten minute walk into town. I have managed to get from Chalet to Switzerland in under 1 hour using series of lifts and runs. Families / friends all welcomed and because Snow Candy owner Dave lives locally in Morzine during winter season standards can and are kept high. Thoroughly recommend...
