I’ve been attending Ursula’s yoga classes year-round in Morzine for the past four years… she’s one of my favourite yoga teachers for many reasons. She’s firm but compassionate in her practice… you feel seen yet challenged and her delivery is the most supportive and encouraging through all her practices. She offers a wide range of styles (my favourite being Forrest yoga), roll and release, Yoga Nidra, Yin, sound healing - and when the weather and seasons align, she takes us outdoors to the stunning Lac de Montriond gifting you a magical start to your summer Sundays.
Ursula has many talents including a fantastic cook at events and retreats, (chef standards in wholesome cooking from all over the world), photographer, yoga and meditation teacher, Qi-Gong, an incredibly powerful Thai masseuse as well as sound healings to name a few; all of which really illustrate her expertise and gifts with body work, breath work (pranayama) and living in an authentic way both in and outside of the yoga studio. She's incredibly knowledgeable in holistic health and well-being.
I could write much more on how special her yoga classes and offerings are in the community for all to enjoy but I invite you to experience the magic for yourself. Her schedule is mostly found at the Yoga Studio Morzine, or full schedules and offerings via her Instagram which is always kept informative...
Read moreMy experiences with Ursula’s yoga classes and sound baths have been nothing but amazing. I went to a range of her yoga classes 4 times a week during my season in Morzine and have never felt better in my body and soul. I loved that no two classes were ever exactly the same - I feel I did something new each time as well as progresses and grew stronger in the more familiar moves. Her classes ranged from yin yoga to flows inspired by Ana Forrest as well as lots of sound baths - all of which were incredible. Ursula can hold space really well and always creates a lovely, safe environment in the studio. She makes everyone feel seen and is always there to support us all in and out of class. Going to her yoga classes definitely made all aspects of my life better, my fitness and my snowboarding improved and was the best it’s ever been and mentally I was able to stay grounded, at peace and happy. I loved and was honoured to have her yoga classes part of my weekly routine and everyone who I brought along with me when they were visiting all agreed that she is an incredible teacher who creates a magical space in the studio, and an overall beautiful person inside and out. I couldn’t recommend Ursula’s classes and time...
Read moreDuring the many yoga classes, sound baths and yogi brunches I have attended I have noticed Ursula’s gift of making people, including myself totally welcomed. Whether you are a total newbie or a seasoned class attendee like myself she always wants to ensure you have got the very best out of her class, retreat etc... She makes it her mission for you to feel at ease and truly wants everyone to love her practises as much as she does. Her love for everything she does oozes out of her and her warm beaming smile instantly makes you forget any worries or troubles you’ve had that day. I always leave the mat feeling lighter. But it’s not just about the yoga for Ursula, it’s also about Mother Nature and what she provides us with. Whether that be in her tinctures, herbal teas, medicinal remedies or cooking, Ursula turns what looks like a weed, to the untrained eye, into something delicious and magical. Her enthusiasm, love and passion for what she does is what makes me want to return time and...
