New Generation Ski & Snowboard School — Local services in Thonon-les-Bains

My daughter started her journey with New Generation in Morzine at age 5 in Jan 2023 with her instructor Meta where she received her 3-star award (Arrows). In Jan 2024 she completed her 4-star award (Bombers) with Uros and fastforward to now, Jan 2025, at 7 years old, she has completed her 7-star award (Rockets) with instructor Alex, skiing black runs comfortably and carving the slopes with ease. She skipped 2 grades from last year, but from the beginning, raher than holding her back, she was moved up levels to accomodate her skills and because of that, her progression this past week has surpassed my expectations. I am so impressed by the level of teaching from New Generation and most importantly the kindness, the patience and most of all, the fun she has had on the slopes year on year. We are thinking next year she won't need lessons anymore and can just ski with us but she is adamant she is skiing with Alex again 🤣 Thank you for another great...

I booked 4 afternoons of private lessons for my 5 year old twins. Matic, their instructor, was great. By day 3 they were already on chair lifts and confidently turning and stopping. We were grateful he still showed up each day to take them for 2 hours, they can be a handful! He has patience of a saint! Thank you Matic, fantastic foundation for them to now build on.

My friend and I (intermediate skiers) had a lesson with Vanja as a refresher and to clear out some bad habits. Vanja was also great instructor. She could see straight away areas we needed to work on, was very clear in explaining what to do and had some great exercises to improve technique. My partner (beginner) had 2 lessons with Robert (has written his own review!).

Very happy with the ski lessons with New Generation! I had used them once before in my second/third week of learning in another resort and remembered them being very good, so I booked again with my friend in Morzine. I booked us for the level 3 as a balance as it was my fifth week and her second, and had a brilliant lesson with Anya. At the end of the first lesson, Anya suggested I move up to the level 4 group so that I could get the most out of the lessons, and her opinion was very much appreciated, as it’s so hard to judge levels yourself. The next day and for the rest of the week I was with Jure at level 4, and found him to be equally brilliant. He was very chilled and would drip-feed the skills and techniques in a very manageable and encouraging way. My confidence definitely improved, and so did my friend’s in the level 3 with Anya.
