Solide café — Restaurant in Thonon-les-Bains

Just visited for the second time. First time was great. Good service and good food. Cookies were delicious. However second time was a different story. Shocking service. When I asked for a menu the server looked at me like I’d asked to jump his mum. Then returned to order and was met with the cold shoulder. Waited patiently, for him to finish serving the first customer in line. Then he proceeded to serve a woman that came in after me. Not a problem, still waited….. he just continued to make coffee in front of me without even an acknowledgment. Super rude and a shame after the first experience was positive. Think the guy needs a hug....

This place has made our season homeschooling in the mountains a pleasure! With a young family of 2 children 12 & 8 we have always felt welcome regardless if we are popping in for a Sunday breakfast or just grabbing a cookie. The staff are really kind and friendly to my kids and they love visiting to pat the dog and enjoy the delicious food. Happily I have discovered the rhubarb and strawberry jam that accompanies the granola bowl, a joy! Highly recommend a vist...

What's not to love? Hot drinks - BEST coffee in Morzine, the tumeric and chai latte are great too and brilliant range of alternate 'mylks'. Food - Best American pancakes i've had outside of the US, a weekly treat! Cakes, cookies . . . my favourite thing about this place is it is CONSISTENTLY brilliant. I'm in at least twice a week and i've yet to have a less than brilliant anything.

Dog friendly, wholesome, fun cafe. Kind, funny, bi-lingual staff....
