Résidence Les Mandariniers — Hotel in Toulon

A very pleasant place, with quiet and small but clean cozy rooms. Rooms are equipped with everything you need and wi-fi works perfect. Anca, the owner, will always answer the phone if you need something. It is very close to the beach, about 50 meters, while downstairs you will find even a pizzeria, a mini market with everything you need, and a shop with beach items. Area Bergerie (where Résidence des Mandariniers is), is very close to the Hyeres city center (10 minutes by car and 20 minutes by local bus ) and very close to what is called the Salt Road. From what i've heard, The Salt Road is closed to traffic between October and May, and it’s ideal for a family walk or a bike ride. During your walk you may catch the sight of a pink flamingo. Be prepared for wind and kite surfing too. And the next day, if you're tired, you may go to Saint Tropez. In 60 km you're there. :) Believe me , it is the place you need for a week of peace and quiet. All of them: and I mean Résidence des Mandariniers, Hyeres, Saint Tropez....

We stayed in 2011 for a week, and were very disappointed. The hotel is not in a quiet place, it's situated on the street which is a very busy beach car park and one of the main routes to the beach for tourists. The plus is that you have your own space for your car in the back garden.||Maybe we were unlucky but our room had a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom (I think the room number was either 8 or 9). We talked about it with the owner, but without success. It was difficult to get in touch with them as well. We only saw the lady, and her English is very poor. The good thing is, that the hotel is very close to the beach. But the beach is very narrow and we would recommend it mostly to surfers. There is loads of surf boards, boats, canoes in the sea, so you have to be careful, not to get hit.||One more thing, you pay for the rooms in cash on the day you arrive.||Hope it...

Ci siamo recati in vacanza per una settimana in questa splendida località: hyeres les palmieres ed in particolare nella presque'il des giens; ci siamo messi alla ricerca di una struttura che fosse possibilmente vicino al mare, che fosse un residence dato che mio marito è cuoco quindi... e che avesse un parcheggio privato; mi sono imbattuta su booking in questa struttura che disponeva ormai solo di una camera ma che rispecchiava ogni nostra esigenza e così siamo partiti; bè devo dire che è stato molto di più di ciò che ci aspettavamo: parcheggio, un cortile rigoglioso di vegetazione, distante dal mare 20 passi! tavolino esterno con ombrellone per mangiare fuori; studio attrezzato di tutto tranne chiaramente essendo un residence di lenzuola, asciugamani; noi abbiamo portato le nostre ma si possono comunque noleggiare in loco e a noi visto che avevamo fatto un lungo viaggio e arrivavamo dall'italia non ce le avrebbero fatto neanche pagare! possibilità di noleggiare biciclette, mappa e libretto turistico per tutto ciò che si può fare in questa zona da sogno Tra l'altro si possono fare delle bellissime passeggiate sia sulla spiaggia che lungo il viale ricco di palme e oleandri ed è distante solo mezz'ora a piedi dal porto d'imbarco per l'isola di porquerolles: un posto così incantevole l'ho visto poche volte ed io ho molto viaggiato; accanto al rresidence ci sono anche un negozio che vende attrezzature per il mare, un minimarket, un ristorantino pizzeria ed un bar, il tutto a prezzi accessibilissimi!!! per questo stupendo residence abbiamo pagato solo 54 euro al giorno lo studio( attenzione non accettano carte di credito!); per chi ama gli sport acquatici si noleggiano anche barche ed è possibile prendere lezioni di kite surf! Devo dire che i proprietari Patrick e Annemarie sono gentilissimi e meravigliosi sempre pronti ad aiutarvi per ogni vostra esigenza! Una cosa no c'è la tele in camera e a noi proprio non importava!
