BLUF: Deceptive marketing practices, little to no staff to be found functionally challenging rooms, and a lack of consistency with the quality of the rooms. Your money is spent better elsewhere.

Although it was not addressed on the booking site, their website, or google reviews, the hotel is under construction or renovation, so expect ALOT of heavy construction noise during the week starting at 0700. The main staircase is riddled with various cables and hoses, so definitely watch your step. The rooms are tastefully decorated, but it appears that form was preferred over function. For example, the shower has no shelf in which to place your soaps, scrubs, razor, etc. The light switch for the bathroom is ... well... not in the bathroom where you would expect it. It is in the foyer.... I still cant figure that one out. Additionally, bring your own wash cloth, they do not provide them. Our initial booking with booking.com showed a completely different floorplan than what we received. The owners did attempt to resolve the situation, but spent the majority of the nearly hour long check in process blaming a third party. Bottom line: I did not get the room I paid for, regardless of which party is at fault. Ensuring the accuracy of the product is the responsibility of the vendor, not the consumer. Another point of frustration... the lack of staffing and/or effective processes for the very amenities in which the hotel is marketed upon. We signed up for the pool/spa as instructed during check in, went down at the time in which we reserved and there were no lights, the sauna was cold and the pool covered. There was no one at the front desk to provide assistance. Ultimately. We had to call the hotels main number to get assistance. We were informed that he last checked it at 1500 and did not see our reservation for 1700. By this time, 20 minutes of our reserved time passed. We were informed that the sauna would not be ready and another guest had the area reserved for 1800. All in all it was not an enjoyable stay and we will definitely not return. If you have the money, stay at the panorama hotel. If you simply need a place to stay to hike or ski, pick any of the other inns in OberJoch.

In response to the owner: After our stay, even though I put my credit card information into my reservation with booking.com, I was informed that they don't take that form of payment and I must perform a wire transfer. This cost me an additional $90 with my bank to perform a transfer from the US. Given that there was not one single day that I was not awoken by the sound of heavy equipment, had to walk around the hotel and cross construction barriers, or jump thorough hoops to use the provided amenities, I gave a similar rating on booking.com. Afterwards, the owner (Sebastian) constantly harassed me via email to change my rating on booking.com citing that it would make his hotel look bad, followed up with very inflammatory comments. So the terrible time I had while at the hotel continued well past my stay. If you are unable to effectively use travel sites such as booking.com, then you should remove yourself from them. The information on their website regarding the construction stated that it would not impact my stay: false. Additionally, this information was not on their main page, but buried into the room amenities of one particular suite. The message regarding the construction was also coupled with the fact that I would lose 80% of my deposit (which I paid on booking.com) if I cancelled. Additionally, you told us that we should have called to find out if there was construction. I do not call Pizza Hut to verify that my online order will be made in accordance with what the website said. That is just stupid. Bottom line: You did not deliver what was ordered. Period. End...

Was für ein wunderbarer Ort! 😎👍🏻

Wir wurden bei unserer Anreise sehr herzlich von Heike empfangen und auch Sebastian (Chef) und Sava, der Quotengrieche 😉 haben uns über die 5 Tage erstklassig betreut. ( Ein großes Dankeschön dafür, denn Gastfreundschaft ist heutzutage leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr.👍🏻

Das Hotel ist sehr ansprechend, gemütlich, modern und dennoch rustikal renoviert worden. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt.☺️

Unser Apartment Nummer 6 hatte eine eingerichtete Küche, mit großem Kühlschrank, Herd, Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Geschirr, Töpfen und Besteck.

Die Betten fanden wir sehr bequem, ich musste mir noch 2 Kissen bei Sebastian besorgen, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Wenn was fehlt, einfach fragen!🤓

Das Essen und auch das Frühstück war spitze 🤩 Von dem Hammer Ausblick ganz zu schweigen! Man könnte es nicht schöner malen.

Der Hobby Raum bietet Billard, einen Kicker und Darts.

Die ersten beiden sind kostenlos, Darts weiß ich nicht, das hatten wir nicht gespielt. Da gibt es auch einen großen Kühlschrank mit Getränken die man sich rausnehmen kann. Einfach Zettel mit Verzehr und Zimmernummer aufschreiben und beim auschecken bezahlen. Clever 👍🏻😎

Es gibt auch einen Fitnessraum der mit neuen Geräten für Cardio und auch einem Tower für Gewichtstraining ausgestattet ist.

Sauna und Hallenbad sind auch vorhanden, aber aus Zeitmangel hatten wir diese nicht genutzt.

Vom Hotel aus kann man super Wanderungen starten ohne erst mit dem Auto irgendwo hinfahren zu müssen. Und beim Check in bekommt man als Zimmerkärtchen automatisch die Bad Hindelang plus Gästekarte, mit der man viele Sachen inklusive hat. Einfach vorher mal online schauen.

Fazit: die 5 Tage sind viel zu schnell vergangen, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Restaurantbewertung! Wir waren am Pfingstmontag, nach einem schönen Wandertag, abends dort eingekehrt, um etwas zu essen. Nach 30 Minuten hatten wir endlich etwas zu trinken, vermutlich auf Grund unserer Eigeninitiative, denn eigentlich fühlte sich bis dahin niemand so richtig zuständig für uns. Die Tomatensuppe kam dann kurz danach und wir waren erst einmal besänftigt. Auf den Hauptgang haben wir dann aber noch einmal über eine Stunde warten dürfen! Der Service war freundlich aber das war auch schon alles, keine Information zum Essen, wie lange es noch dauert, etc... Keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches (Getränk auf´s Haus? - Fehlanzeige)

Die Tomatensuppe war gut, heiß und lecker. Das Putensteak hat gut geschmeckt, die Gemüsebeilage dazu war leider nur lauwarm, die Kartoffelpuffer aber schön heiß. Die Bergzeitvariation hat den Magen gefüllt, Spinatknödel und Krautkrapfen waren etwas trocken. Eigentlich hätten wir uns zum Nachtisch noch auf einen Kaiserschmarn gefreut, haben darauf aber verzichtet, da wir befürchteten, wieder so lange warten zu müssen. An den Tischen um uns herum herrschten ähnliche Wartezeiten.
