Sympathie Hotel Fürstenhof — Hotel in Bad Kreuznach

My mum and I stayed for 5 nights at The Sympathie Hotel Fürstenhof in Bad Kreuznach and we absolutely loved everything. We can recommend room No. 301 at the 3rd. level, close to the elevator and with only one adjoining room. It was very quiet, very spacious, clean with two french doors to a large balcony.Bathroom was of a generous size and thats the only negative comment: there could have been at least one more hand towel rail as the walls have plenty of space for additional rails. Would have been my only request.||Breakfast buffet with plenty of choices, the most perfectly and freshly cooked 5min. egg I have ever received in a hotel of this category.....just perfect.||Like to mention Mr. Lucas (Bolton) as a wonderful hos who delivered a perfect and personal service!||Can only highly recommend!! AC apparently doesn’t work until it has been 24 degrees for a week. Since it was only 24+ for 2 days it didn’t our room was on the side of the sun so we were cooking in there. Staff couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything about it. When we said we wanted to checkout the same day because it was impossible to sleep in that sauna we were still charges the full amount. The place was also hard to reach, it was very unclear how to get there and where to park. We were having 2 and 3 stars hotels the entire trip and wanted to close the trip with a 4 star one, imagine our disappointment since it was the least one of the entire trip. Great hotel with sauna, swimming pool and town centre only few minutes away. Plenty of parking. Lovely river walk.||The hotel offered a wide selection of food for breakfast.The dinner menu also had a good variety of dishes to offer and the meal itself was excellent. Staff were very attentive, the best breakfast waiter was a lovely gentleman from Bangaledesh.||The room was a good size with a balcony.|| The only negatives were, did not like the fact the bathroom door was glass and offered little privacy.||The shower seal had worn away, consequently the floor was soaking wet after every shower.
