UPDATE: Well its months later, I contacted the hotel as they asked, they offered a refund for the night which I was satisfied with but after giving them all my information they just ghosted us. I never received a refund, I never received another email from them even after I sent multiple emails asking what's going on. I sent an email to their main head office, nothing! How do you run a business like this? Zero standards.
This is long but worth reading, if you are thinking of staying here.... We decided to book this hotel, which was 160km from us but we knew we'd get there at a reasonable time to still get a good night sleep. We are on a motorcycle and normally camping, so we thought we'd book a hotel and have a good sleep. We arrived 10.30pm, no one is there at reception but there's an automated check in system. It's not working, the screen does nothing. Ok it can happen, there's an emergency number on the door so we call it, its disconnected. So we're starting to get frustrated but a lovely hotel guest let us in and there was another self check in machine inside. Finally, we think! It also is malfunctioning. You can't put information in, it freezes up. My husband is getting very frustrated, we are very tired. We try calling the number on the door again, same thing.., disconnected. I call a different number from the lobby, it's also out of use. 3 hours we spent trying to get the machine to work. 3 Hours! Finally by some technological miracle it worked and we got our room number and access code. We didnt get into our room until 1.45am we were SO angry that we could barely get to sleep. On top of our check-in experience, there were lovely toe nail clippings from a previous guest on the carpet and spiders in every corner of the room. The room was also not the one I booked, it had 2 seperate beds on either side of the room, so my husband had to push them together so we could sleep next to each other. The next morning we go down to talk to reception. He actually laughs when we say the machine didn't work because he knew already it didnt work! "Yes it not work!" We ask him to make it right, we expect they may let us stay in the room a bit longer, maybe offer us breakfast or something.. a cup of coffee maybe.. Nothing, not even an apology. NO HE CANT DO ANYTHING and they need the room so we have to get out! We ask to speak to the manager, he can't call him/her, we can't talk to him/her on the phone but they'll be at the hotel at 2pm. We decide to wait in the lobby till they arrive. So we wait in the lobby and then we're informed they're not coming anymore all of a sudden. We've already heard him on the phone saying "they are still here". I have never been treated like this in my life. I'm not a complainer but I paid good money for a clean room and a nights rest after a long trip and I didn't receive either of those in the slightest. The fact that you have an emergency number that is disconnected means if a guest has any problems there is no one there! Absolutely disgusting customer service! No care for the customer just "we can't do anything". I will never stay at a B&B again and I will warn people of this business to anyone and...
Read moreI was very happy with my stay at the B&B Hotel in Chemnitz. The check-in was straightforward and the on-site car park was very convenient. My room was comfortable and pleasantly quiet, which made for a restful night's sleep.
The central location was not only an ideal starting point for my business activities in Chemnitz, but also for relaxed exploration of the city on foot.
A few small comments: It was a little dark in the shower, which made showering a little less relaxing for me personally. I would have liked a selection of eggs at breakfast, and the WiFi could of course always be a bit faster.
Despite these small points, my overall stay was very pleasant. I give the hotel a 9/10 and can definitely...
Read moreI am very happy with my stay that's why I also chose it on the way back. The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable, the dark curtains allow you to sleep well, the breakfast is very decent, but I miss scrambled eggs which I am used to in the morning when traveling, and which seems to be standard in many hotels. The service is super nice and helpful, always smiling. If I were to recommend a hotel, it would be this one, the only downside is the parking spaces, which may not seem like much, but I had a place for an SUV in Chemnitz twice, it wasn't a problem. Hotel in the city center, really nice standard, clean, nice and quiet :) yes, I...
