Das Restaurant wirkt von außen mit seiner weißen Plastik/Glasfront eher wie ein Ausflugscafé. Davon sollte man sich aber nicht täuschen oder gar abschrecken lassen. Innen erwartet einen tatsächlich ein von Indern geführtes indisches Restaurant.

Drinnen wurden wir sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Wir waren zu viert und hatten zwei Vorspeisen und 5 Hauptspeisen bestellt. Wir haben einfach alles in die Mitte gestellt, sodass jeder von jeder Speise probieren konnte und es hat ausnahmslos alles sehr gut geschmeckt.

Sehr lecker fand ich auch den Delhi Lassi, der in der Karte als Joghurt mit Salz und Minze geführt wird. Weitere Zutat ist allerdings Kreuzkümmel, wer den also nicht besonders mag, sollte eher einen Mangolassi bestellen, der auch ganz ok war.

Die Portionen hatten eine angenehme Größe. Nicht zu wenig aber auch nicht so viel, dass man sich vollgefressen fühlt.

Zur Schärfe: Mein Essen war als mittelscharf angegeben. Ich hätte es aber maximal als leicht scharf eingestuft. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das in Indien überhaupt als scharf durchgehen würde. 😉

Änderungswünsche beim Essen waren überhaupt kein Problem und die Bedienung war während unseren gesamten Besuches aufmerksam und freundlich ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein.

Die Inneneinrichtung wirkt, als wäre sie von einem chinesischen Restaurant übernommen worden. Die dunkelroten Wände im hinteren Bereich wirken etwas erdrückend. Vielleicht könnte so etwas wie indirekte Beleuchtung, ein Wandteppich oder ähnliches das Ambiente etwas aufhellen und den krassen Gegensatz zum weißen Fließenfußboden abmildern.

Im ganzen Restaurant war es sehr sauber - Tische, Fußboden, Toiletten, da gab es nichts auszusetzen.
