Goed pension om enkele dagen in Weimar te verblijven. Dicht bij het centrum, alles op loopafstand. Parkeren achter het pension op gereserveerde parkeerplaatsen. Uitstekend ontbijt, schone kamers, zeer vriendelijk personeel. nadeel is dat er geen lift aanwezig is en de trap naar de tweede verdieping 52 treden hoog is. De kamers zijn warm en nauwelijks af te koelen. Bijna alle bezienswaardigheden vallen onder de Kultur Stiftung Weimar die voor alle entrees een forse prijs rekenen. De Weimar Card is goedkoper, €29,95 maar slechts 48 uur geldig. Dat is rennen als je alles in 48 uur wilt zien. Aparte toegangen kosten bij elkaar €110 per persoon. Dat zijn geen DDR prijzen meer.
