Tom Sushi — Restaurant in Weimar

Honestly, it was a bad experience. First of all, it's only cash. The waiter's face changed to a rude expression when she found out that we had no cash. I mean, who carries 40 euros in their wallet? Then she told us where the atm was, and thankfully we got the money, and her face lit up like nothing happened. Also, the sushi was bad. It was very dry and didn't taste that good. Also, I know that this is not much of a deal, but the waiter just poured the Fanta from a plastic bottle, and it was not cool and fizzy at all. Besides, she did not know how to speak English, so we couldn't communicate very well. It's not like everything is cheap. 2 menus for 40 euros? I really don't understand the people who say that this restaurant is cheap and everything is great. Please save your money and don't ever go to...

Sehr gute Qualität der Speisen, sehr guter Service, moderate bis angemessene Speisen:

In der Nähe des Goetheplatzes und der (Rückseite) des Theaters. Man gelangt aus der Fußgängerzone in weniger als 10 Gehminuten dorthin. Parkplätze in der Nähe hingegen sind knapp, allenfalls kann man hinter der Post in dem großen zentralen Parkhaus sein Auto abstellen. Mit den Stadtbussen fährt man einfach bis Goetheplatz.

Innen 30 bis 40 Plätze an verschieden großen Tischen. Ambiente asiatisch bunt, aber nicht zu unruhig. Nach dem Setzen kommt der Kellner in der Regel sofort, bereitet noch den Tisch und verweist auf die Karte.

Man kann einzelne Sushi bestellen, besser nimmt man aber ein Menü. Sonderwünsche wie gegarte Sushi, vegetarische oder fischfreie sind kein Problem. Auch große Menüs für bis zu 10 Personen ausreichend sind verfügbar. Ein Running Sushi oder all you can eat wird man hingegen nicht finden.

Die Preise sind moderat bis angemessen. Als Indikator mag gelten, daß man auch immer Studenten hier trifft.
