No respect for privacy.
I stayed for two nights for a concert I was giving in Weimar and the first morning was woken at 9:15 by someone ringing on the door. They rang again, putting keys in the door and asked if the mini fridge had been used. The second morning I ensured I had ‘Do not disturb’ hanging on the door so I could rest and was woken by hotel staff unlocking the door to my room whilst I was sleeping! At 9am! Breakfast is lavish not only in the variety of what is offered to eat, but also in its baronial setting, with tapestries, white table clothes, china, and attentive service. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. | The Best Western Grand Hotel Russischer Hof is an excellent site from which to familiarize yourself with Weimar: the hotel is a small-scale version of the city in which...
