Just returned from a 2 week stay in these tranquil ,peaceful studios. Konstantina met us at the port and gave us a guided tour with lots of useful information as we made our way up to the old town. We were shown into our standard studio which was lovely and more than adequate - however she told us that she was upgrading us to a deluxe studio which was so kind of her. The studio was obviously a little larger than the one next door with a larger balcony, everything else was the same - well decorated/maintained, lovely large bed, very modern bathroom (for Greece!), nice furniture, ample kitchenette which was well equipped (Konstantina left us a little welcome pot with tea/coffee/sugar/milk and water), bath robes are also supplied which is a nice touch.|The studios are on three levels, as far as we were aware all with views over part of the old town and towards the sea. We were travelling with Jet 2 so we were self catering however there seemed to be a pretty little breakfast room in the garden - not sure how that works maybe for customers booking direct - it wasn't used during our stay.|The studios as very conveniently situated close to the many restaurants, boutique shops and yet in such a peaceful spot when you can enjoy the views and peace.|The old town (Chora) is very hilly with lots of cobbles and uneven pathways so sensible shoes only !|So finally ,we had a wonderful stay - a big thank you to the cleaners who kept our room spotlessly clean and also to Konstantina for her kindness, hopefully we...
Read moreJust returned from 11 days at Konstantinastudios in the old town on Alonissos. Met by Konstantina at the port and taken to her property.|Very friendly and helpful lady, full of information and tips. We had a de-lux studio, booked through Jet2, The studio was very clean and tidy, excellent modern bathroom with a superb walk in shower, always plenty of hot water. Bed linen and towels changed regularly.|Kitchen area small but manageable. Beds were really comfortable. We didn’t hire a car, but being an active retired couple we would walk down the old donkey path to Patitiri and get the bus back or a taxi if the if the timetable didn’t suit (10 euro) Surprised to find that there are no taxi boats from Patitiri, but there is a regular bus service to different beaches on the island.|The view from our balcony was stunning, especially waking to catch the sun rise. Our favourite restaurant in the old town was Paraport, authentic Greek dishes cooked and served by a mother and son. Favourite in Patitiri was Ostria good food at a good price. Easy to share dishes if you don’t have a...
Read moreKonstantina offered us an upgrade on arrival to a slightly larger studio which was great. The studio was very well furnished and very comfortable. There was a small kitchen which is perfect for light meals. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar and spreads were provided as a starter pack. The bathroom was very clean and toiletries were provided. Each studio has a balcony with table and chairs and clothes drying rack. The view from ours was stunningly beautiful. We could watch the sunrise over the sea every morning. Our studio was cleaned every day. The standard of accommodation here is excellent. It is very well positioned, looking out over the hillside and the sea but also within very easy reach of all that Chora has to offer in the way of shops, restaurants and cafes. If you like walking it is a lovely walk down into Patitiri and back along the old donkey path and you can also walk through the wooded hillside to several beaches. The owner, Konstantina, meets you from the ferry and drives you back down. She is very friendly and eager to help you enjoy your stay on the...
