What a mistake it was to come here to eat... After I asked if the kitchen is already open and if I can have dinner, the answer was yes. Since there was no pork souvlaki on the menu, I asked if there could be one. The answer was yes again. I also ordered a salad with rocket and fruit, and a cold Mammos. After 10 minutes the ice cold beer was on the table. A shepherd's salad (!) a.k.a. Greek salad came after half an hour and I was amazed because I hadn't ordered that, but I thought everything was good, I can eat that too, why not. And I waited another half an hour for my meal. This wasn't a pork souvlaki, but a kebab skewer. Oh man, I thought, I said that quite frankly but didn't want to wait another hour. The food wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either. Absolutely the best and most atmospheric place to eat on the island! My wife and I spent three wonderful weeks on the island, trying to eat at a new place every day. But this place truly captivated us! Everything about it is perfect. We found ourselves wanting to come back again and again. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and during our time there, we had the pleasure of meeting almost everyone, each of whom was fantastic. The menu is great, and the prices are excellent. We also need to highlight the amazing live music, which adds a special atmosphere to this wonderful place. We have visited this restaurant partly based upon previous reviews . Unfortunately once again we were surprised by the slow , inadequate service and poor quality of food . We ordered zucchini balls as an appetizer and mousaka and chicken as the main dishes . The Zucchini balls were served together with the mousake as the other main dish was served 10 minutes later 😙. Mousaka and chicked were ok but definitely not great as mentioned in previous reviews . Furthermore bread was charged although we asked to take it away at the beginning . In general , after visiting so many islands in the past , we are really disappointed by such a bad service and poor quality of food on the sporades ( Skopelos and Alonissos ) . Especially when you know that prices have risen recently...
