Hilarious. It was empty but having visited the Old Town last year and not visited this restaurant we thought 'why not?' We were enticed in by a gentleman in his early 20s who identified the old lady sitting down as his grandmother and chef. Very charming. However, after recognising that his awkward interactions were not just a language barrier it was getting funny. Wrong food served: we let this go. A few unprompted and unexpected sudden interjections from this waiter ie suddenly pointing to my wife's plate at some garnish she had forked aside 'ITS BASIL!!' left us a bit perturbed. The view was lovely but my cheesy chips (instead of prawns) as a starter followed by the local cheese pie left me carbed out as the waiters awkward 'chat' continued. My 2 yr old fell on the cobbled alley a few meters away from this establishment and started crying loudly. She refused to be picked up and while I was trying to calm her down, a rude waiter came out shaking his head, giving me the evil looks and yelled “señorita!!!”. A few seconds later he came out again even angrier telling me to “take her away, there are clients”. We saw this place and it smelled so much better than the other restaurants in the old village, This restaurant is going on thru 30 years and it runs by a Greek mama and her son, we saw her rolling the dough for the pies and we knew we came in to the right place, she makes all of the food, it’s the most authentic we tasted here, everything we ate was absolutely amazing.
