Ithaca's Poem — Hotel in Ithaca Municipality

The air conditioner made so much noise as if a propeller aircraft had its engine running and it really didn’t cool the rooms very much either. The towels had a funny smell and were old. The pillows weren’t that comfortable either. No toaster in the kitchen and not even a bottle of water in the fridge. Walking up to the apartment from the parking lot was difficult for us because of the two inclines and the many stairs. Also the pathways had poor lighting at night and at some point they turn them off completely. Otherwise the two bedroom apartment was roomy and clean with a nice view of the town but all in all not...

The apartment was spacious and modern in a very good location just 3 minutes from Vathy and 5 minutes from Sarakiniko beach. The place was clean and completely cluttered with electrical appliances and smaller appliances (coffee machine, kettle) etc. However, some basic things were missing (sugar, coffee, salt and pepper). The Wi-Fi was mostly unstable and bad. You “shared” the water, when some other house was using the shower or the kitchen , the water pressure was low. An excellent and quiet location with a lovely view across Vathy and the harbour. The rooms were modern, immaculate, and very great value for money! When we arrived earlier than expected, they very kindly allowed us to check in early, even taking our bags to the room when it was ready.
