We came with de doggies. They immediately bring water. After dinner we asked for cappuccino. Normally after 21 our the machine is closed but they arranged cappuccino for us. They are very friendly, the white house wine was good, tasted familiair like a French wine. The food was with a French touch. You have to replace yourself in the Greek way of living. Best brunch on Ithaca! We had brunch at Avli on our 2nd day on the island and have since been looking for an opportunity to return. Eggs, omelettes, pancakes, yoghurt with fruit, English breakfast, freshly squeezed juices and ice coffee were all freshly made and delicious. The staff are polite and the service is quick. A hidden gem, almost obscured, next to the Drakoulis building. A good place to chill any time during the day, have a beverage, get some breakfast, brunch, a snack. Great view of the Vathy harbor, although, most likely the anchored yachts during the summer will not allow to see much else. Good service, friendly and accommodating. Quick to correct any mistakes.
