A picturesque hotel in a great location. My partner and I stayed at this picturesque hotel in the middle of August 2025. The first thing to say about this hotel is the amazing view from the terrace - it’s a joy to overlook the turquoise sea from the pool. Secondly, the staff are amazing. We arrived to a warm welcome from all staff, but Evripidis (who works in the pool bar) is the one who stood out - friendly and made excellent iced coffee! The rooms are basic, but very clean and perfectly acceptable for a week’s stay. The only slight negative is in the room we stayed in the bracket holding the shower head was broken so it would either be facing the wall or fall off and soak the bathroom. There was also a shower curtain, which personally I hate. It would stick to you in the shower and block the plug if you wern’t watching, leaving the bathroom flooded. The air condition was a paid extra. It worked well and was definitely necessary, however it was quite noisy at night. Breakfast was pleasant with a range of cooked options and continental style - however it did become quite repetitive after a week. There is a path (quite steep) at the back of the hotel which takes you down to the beach. The water is crystal clear and the sea is warm with a sandy bottom (once you get out over the couple of meters of rock). When we stayed there were a few families with smaller children. The children weren’t badly behaved, but as a couple who wanted a relaxing, quiet, holiday the noise from them playing in the pool did become aggravating at times. I understand this is not advertised as an ‘adults only’ hotel, and the hotel can’t stop who books, but it definitely had a slightly negative effect on our stay and should be considered if you are a couple looking for a peaceful break. This brings me on to my biggest criticism - the constant need for music to be played around the pool area. The pool area is so beautiful with the sound of the waves below, the wind in the trees and the chirping of the insects. However, it is drowned out by ‘euro-pop’ being played from speakers located around the pool. In my opinion this constant ‘noise’ is not needed and would be much nicer without it. Overall, a clean hotel, in a picturesque location with staff who are happy to help.

We stayed here for a week in July and it was a very pleasant visit. The hotel is 5 minutes walking distance outside the town Kassandria. We found this little town way too exploited for East European tourism with lots of stores selling furs in the middle of the summer. The kids loved the amusement park but besides that we could have skipped Kassandria. Since the hotel doesn’t accept credit cards it might be good to know that the ATM machine in Kassandria (outside a bank), can’t remember the name, let you make cash withdrawal without extra fees. The price difference compared to the ATM outside Lidl and in Afythos is more than 10 percent so it’s good business finding the right ATM. Instead of staying in Kassandria we took the car five minutes north every evening to lovely town Afythos. The difference between Afytos and Kassandria is huge. Afythos is a very beautiful old town with amazing walkways. The owner of Evridipis hotel is a very friendly lady so don’t be afraid to ask her if you need anything. The rooms are clean and of ok standard. Pool area is very nice with free sunbeads (some extra sunbeads would be nice though) and very family friendly. Pool bar and restaurant serves home cooked food of high standards. Free parking for the car just outside the rooms. Steep hiking trail leading from pool area to beach. Not for kids or disabled people - use the car if you don’t like heights and hiking. We are a family of two adults and two kids, 2 and 10 years old. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Evridipis very much and recommend it.

The hotel does NOT have a beach. Not even can be considered near the beach since it is on a hill. Vey false advertising on their side calling it a beachfront or whatever. Unless you are willing to take a 10 min very dangerous and steep HIKE to the sea (not even a beach no ammenities etc) then be my guest but I do not wish to go hiking just to reach sea in my vacation. Other than this horrible logistics issue, the rooms... We booked a three people bedroom. 3. If you can call it that, appearantly it is only on the title and price. Putting a bed in a one person bedroom and charging quite extra is really not okay in my opinion. There wasn't even any room left to open my suitcase (cabin baggage even). Did not even bother to provide third of anything, it was if they were preparing a two person bedroom. No third towel, no bed cover... Two soaps and two shower gels that's it. Plus one of the soaps was cracked open already, very nice... No hand towels provided either... The shower head handle was broken. The water coming out: ORANGE. Yep ORANGE not even yellow. Yeah, no shower for us I guess. Very smelly bathroom overall, still using moldy shower curtains in 2024? Quite dirty overall too. The breakfast options were VERY limited and honestly bad :/ Does not deserve the money at all. Only the location makes it bearable but if you do not have a car or you want to just chill/ and vacation in a comfortable area, not the best choice. Do not recommend.
