my husband and I stayed here for two weeks in September. We arrived at around 2pm and were checked in by a lovely lady called Andrea who was very helpful when we had a problem with the shower. |The rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean, you had a wardrobe and a dressing table with two draws in and two bedside tables with a draw in. It was a good job there was a settee in the room because there wasn't anywhere to put your shorts and things but we managed by putting them on the settee. The rooms were cleaned every day and bed linen and towels changed every 3 days which was really good.|The breakfast was really good there were hot food like Greek sausage and hot dogs, loads of different types of eggs even poached which were always soft yolks, cereals, lots of different breads ,cooked meets, cheese, olives, salads|A lot of people didn't like the evening meal but we found it okay, there was always something to eat even if you didn't know what it was ha ha. George the manager in the restaurant was fantastic as were Love, Nicoletta, Raphile always at hand to help you with anything they are a great team we loved them all.|The beach was a pebbly sandy beach but what spoiled it for us was the big pebbles and big rocks at the entrance to the sea, you had to wear swimming shoes or you would just fall. The beds are 25 euros for the front row with thick mattresses the second row were 20 euros with thick mattresses, then the rest with no mattresses were 10 euros. deck chairs and a few bean bags around the pool area and tables and chairs were free but no sunbeds.|Now for Hanioti, it's changed so much since we were last there 24 years ago, there isn't many English there now so it's mostly catered for Eastern Europeans, nothing wrong with that but the English are not catered for anymore I think so it made it difficult to have a good night out, it was full of English the first time we came. If you like plenty of shops and fast food cafes a few real Greek restaurants (not many) then it's for you, unfortunately Hanioti wasn't for us. We managed to find one bar that had a TV playing English music but got a bit sick by the end, there isn't a lot to do at night time so for this reason we wouldn't come back, nothing to do with the hotel. One more thing at night in the town it was like a football match had just emptied it's stadium that's how packed it was.|A thank you to everyone at Naias Beach for making our stay really lovely we still loved your hotel just...
Read moreStaff are very friendly and helpful. I had a self catering apartment and it was more than basic. I asked for chopping board, knife, wood spoon but was told to buy it myself. They really need to make sure to accommodate what they advertise. Internet is non existent in the new block. I had to go either to the reception or the pool or the beach to get access to internet, so I could not do any work in my room. Rooms facing the street are super noisy and don’t have good blinds so the night street lights are blasting. I had to be creative to make the room dark. Noise is constant, particularly from 6am when dustmen start working and cleaners start making noise from 7am. It was unbearable. The new building is super echoey so a lot of noise from the within the building. Doors slamming and thin walls are other noises. Beach and the sun beds could be kept much cleaner so I chose to go to another beach that did not have so many people, sun umbrellas and it was kept very clean. Food was excellent and there was a variety but sometimes they would ran out of plates or cutlery, even chairs. So dining area is way too small for the number of people the hotel takes on. I would some days had to wait for some food to be placed as it was not prepared in advance. I had to change the room as my first room was very smelly of sewage- smell was mostly coming from the kitchen sink rather than from the bathroom. So the smell would wake me up at night as it would spread throughout the apartment (the whole apartment is one room with separate bathroom). Sheets and towels were changed very often, I think every other day. The hotel also provides a beach towel which saved me on luggage allowance. All in all a good place with...
Read moreEverything is close, beach, swimming pool, hotel. Dinner is fine, breakfast is always the same, you have to wait for croissants, pancakes, they are not there from the beginning, and there are periods when they are not available. The rooms are big, but the closet has no shelves and is very small (we had 2 rooms connected, and one closet), so things are everywhere in bags, suitcases...In the evening, there is never hot water, the pressure drops, sometimes the water disappears for a period of time. We brought home bed bugs from the hotel....In the water in front of the beach there is something like a huge stone, it really bothers you...the bathroom has only one towel rail, the room is for 4. In order to travel home at night, we asked to extend our stay in the room until 19:00, at first they said - there is no way we are full, then it was possible but at a price of 250e extra, so they told me that it was too much. Then like, ok, maybe for 200e, in the end they offered us to extend our stay for 8 hours for 100e... The management should be aware that such an approach really tires the guests, and it's not friendly at all... Although there are good sides, there are also a lot of bad ones and yes, there is an acacia in the children's playground, its flowers fall everywhere and there are bees all over the floor. Children are often bitten by bees, parents don't get to see it, there is no...
