Blue White House — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

This place is what I've been looking for. Trying to explore Lefkada, we wanted an accommodation somewhere near the best beaches, best restaurants and best sights. So we decided to stay at Blue White House. Getting there was easy: from the center of the village, takeing the road to the beach and turning right on the first and at the end of the road there was the inner parking of ourlocation. There is enough space for 10 cars so you will not find a problem in leaving the automobile in safe place. The rooms are situated in the left buildings, houses that are surrounded by green trees and multicolour flowers. There are 3 houses with multiple rooms: double, triple or family rooms. They are beautiful! They are painted in sky blue and white, just like those famous rooftops of Santorini. You really feel the Greek atmosphere. The furniture is in good shape and you have everything you need; your own kitchenette and bathroom plus a balcony with table and chairs where you can serve your morning coffee or night beer/wine. The stuff is very friendly and they clean and change towels erveryday. There are no reasons to fear about the safety of your goods: nothing was touched. Coming back to friendliness, they gave us information when I requested and they even gave us some small gifts for our baby. We stood in a room in the first building. The sun was warming us in the morning while we were sipping our coffee. At noon when we took the midday sleep, the room was in shade; perfect for sleeping with a considerable Celsius degrees difference comparing to hot summer days in Greece. There was also a cooling machine but there was no need to start it. Just like the TV. The place has another big advantage.There is a market at 5 minutes walk and 3 restaurants: O Platanos, Lonias and Ionio.The last one is near the market and there you can find good olive oil for sale. The famous Panoramic View and Veranta restaurants are at 5 minutes drive, in the begining of the village as you come from Ag. Nikitas. Kalamitsi beach, Megali Petra and Avali are not far away, 10 minutes drive down the winding road. This is the place where I'll be back whenever I'll visit Lefkada. Έχοντας διαβάσει σχόλια είπα να μοιραστώ την δική μας εμπειρία.Να ξεκινήσω με το δωμάτιο, όταν μπήκαμε να αφήσουμε τα πράγματα μας μονο,φαινόταν όμορφο που έχει γίνει προσπάθεια και μερακι για τον χωρο ..επιστρέφοντας απ την παραλία παρατήρησα ότι το δωμάτιο δεν ηταν καθαρό. Πάτωμα που δεν είχε καθαριστεί,στον τοίχο υπήρχαν ιστοί από αράχνη , νηπτιρας με τρίχες, κομοδίνο βρώμικο που κόλλαγε,τριχες στις πετσέτες και σεντονια με σταμπες και τριχες.. πηραμε αμέσως την ιδιοκτήτρια οπου ήρθε Κι έκανε ένα γρήγορο σκουπισμα σφουγγάρισμα.. ανέφερε ότι δεν είναι βρώμικα τα σεντόνια αλλά σταμπες που δεν βγαίνουν.. (διαθέτεις κατάλυμα άρα άλλαξε τα απ την στιγμή που έχουν σταμπες μην μπαίνει ο αλλος στη διαδικασία να μαντεύει αν είναι βρώμικα) .. έπειτα την επόμενη μέρα η κυρία της καθαριοτητας ζήτησε συγγνώμη ,και παρακαλεσα για πιο καλό καθαρισμο και ότι δεν χρειαζόμαστε σεντονια έχουμε δικά μας... τελικά μόνο σκουπα και σφουγγάρισμα έκανε όλα τα υπόλοιπα στην τύχη τους... ακόμα και την λάμπα στο μπάνιο που είχε καεί και της το είπα δεν την άλλαξε.. διακόπτες μπανιου κλπ μέσα στην βρώμα (εγώ τους τα καθάρισα ίσως για πρώτη φορά).. φυσικά στο τέλος ανεφερα την δυσαρέσκειά μου για την καθαριότητα η απάντηση ηταν επειδή είναι Αύγουστος το προσωπικό είναι κουρασμένο..( και εγώ κουράστηκα όλο το χρόνο για να μαζεψω τα χρήματα για κάποιες διακοπες και περιμένω όπως όλοι πιστεύω το βασικότερο απ όλα που είναι η καθαριότητα!) Σαν δωμάτιο ωραίο με μπαλκονακι και κουζίνα για να μαγειρεύεις ωστόσο το μπάνιο πολύ άβολο ,μικρο που δυσκολεύει πολυ αν θες να μείνεις παραπάνω μέρες (εμεις μείναμε δύο βραδιές) γιατί μαζεύει νερα σε όλο το μπάνιο..έχει μια ντουζιερα χωρις χώρισμα κατω οπότε τα νερα πανε παντού. Όσο αφορά το κόστος, παρόμοιο κατάλυμα από οικονομικής άποψης πέρσι ίδιες ημερομηνίες και ήταν όλα άψογα. (Μειναμε στο δωμάτιο...

Very lovely place with big space for children. Clean and authentic studios blue and white colour. Without noise very nice for resting. Good price for Lefkada. The last but most important, best regards for Evi, lovely lady always with good energy. Bad side of the place is not so good position of village Kalimitsi. Up in hill, with tight round (two cars can't go side by side). There is no space for take a walk, there is one tavern without...
