Katerina Lefkada — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

We spent 10 nights in Parga but wanted to visit Lefkada as well so drove down for our final day and night. Drive was fine until we got very close to the hotel and then we couldn’t find it due to the very narrow access road that leads up to it. There are signs as you approach but would help if these were nearer the main road.|Anyway once we arrived there are lots of parking spaces and check in was quick and easy. Thankfully there is also a small lift to avoid carrying luggage up to our second floor room. The rooms are fairly compact and basic with a nice balcony area with great views. There is a stove and some basic utensils but no kettle although we had our own. The bathroom is quite small but perfectly adequate and shower was powerful with hot water. |The swimming pool is lovely and offers more great views as well as shower and toilet block and a serving hatch for the main bar area. Beers were well priced as was the cold bottles of water if required. |As others have said it is a bit challenging to get down to the beach and resort area down lots of steps and the steep hill but we managed it ok. Once there we had a drink in the cave bar and then walked the length of the bay and had a great meal in Patio dining. We planned on getting a taxi back but none available so walked it which was fine. Amazing hotel, very clean rooms and common areas, amazing sea view from breakfast and pool areas as well. When we arrived and due to an opening, the owners were so kind as to upgrade our room to one with breathtaking sea views. Katerina and Nikos gave us the greatest recommendations of things to do in Lefkada and made sure we would visit the most amazing places during our stay. They even gave us an umbrella to take with us to the beach since we have not brought our own. Really lovely family-run hotel with staff who are very welcoming and who couldn't do enough for you. Place is spotless inside and really well maintained outside. It's clear it gets a lot of tlc! Fantastic pool and hillside views of Vasiliki and the valley. Our room had modern decor with a nice balcony and was cleaned every day. Super comfy bed. No noise at all even though we were next to the lift. Very chilled atmosphere. Owner was kind enough to drop us to the port on departure. Ample parking. Nothing to not like with this place....
