Nymphs Rooms & Apartments Lefkada — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

We stayed at Nymphs for two nights when attending a wedding at a nearby resort hotel. With very little web presence, we picked Nymphs solely on the basis of price (cheap), availability, and the fact we could walk to and from the wedding festivities.||||What a surprise we had! Our room was lovely with amazing views out to sea (marred slightly by the road below). If we'd stayed longer, we may've also been tempted to use the cooking facilities, which were clean and well appointed.||||One of the best things about our stay was the proprietor, George, who was a wonderful host, and pointed out all his favourite places on the island.||||Nymphs' web presence is new (can I really be the first tripadvisor reviewer?) but apparently they've been in business 14 years. You wouldn't know it as the rooms are clean and clearly the paint job and so on is refreshed regularly. ||||In summary, this place isn't perfect, but is really great value. If you'd rather be amongst the hustle and bustle, you may want to be in Nidri or Nikiana, but if you're happy for a bit of peace and quiet, Nymphs is a good option. One of the best and cleanest location we have ever been. Every day we had our rooms cleaned, towels and sheets changed every 2-3 day I believe, always felt it was the first day I arrived there. Rooms are big, had AC, TV, kitchen with everything we need to prepare something. The view was spectacular and also the quiet we had while drinking the coffee in the morning or wine in the evening, made the vacation a very relaxing one. |Last but not least, the owners are very nice people, always ready to help with advice and recommendations for each day. We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, very well-kept, and the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms are spotless thanks to the daily cleaning, and the view is absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise from here was unforgettable.
