Azur Retreat — Hotel in Meganisi Municipality

We are currently staying at this wonderful luxurious 5 star 18 room boutique hotel located in Vatis in Meganisi. The staff is over the top helpful friendly and accommodating. The Breakfast is delicious and very appetizing. We have utilized the spa services which were also excellent and very pampering. The rooms are spacious clean modern and very well maintained and appointed. The air conditioning works flawlessly. We love the separate shower and commode areas. The cleaning staff is very attentive and the evening turn over of the rooms is a added bonus as it is in all 5 star hotels. The outside decks and private pools are such a beautiful addition to this wonderful hotel. All of the areas of the hotel are beyond clean and pristine. The Hotel is located in an excellent location minutes away from the best restaurants and beaches on Meganisi with a incredible beautiful view. I cannot stress enough how accommodating the staff is. I had an issue with my legs and climbing the stairs to the 4th floor became a problem for me. Although i always prefer a high floor because of the view the staff immediately changed my room to a 2nd floor room with a even bigger room with a bigger pool deck area with the same beautiful view. The bell man carried all of our items into the new room in minutes. Going above an beyond is the best way i can describe this staff. If your coming to Meganisi and you are like us and prefer a 5 star resort this is the only place to be. Enjoy...

We have travelled to a lot of Greek islands and Meganissi is by far my favourite. It has a lovely laidback feel. This is a lovely hotel with an upmarket, but relaxed vibe. We had a rockstar room on the 3rd floor, which had an amazing sea view and the perfect size pool for a couple. We spent many hours watching the yachts as they headed for the marina in Vathy, whilst floating in our pool. The main pool was also stunning and waiter service is available. We had the daily breakfast plus lunch and dinner there once. The food was lovely and we will definitely eat in the restaurant again when we return. Shout out to George who was always ready to welcome us for breakfast and have a chat. Other bars, restaurants and shops in Vathy are a short 8 mins walk away(mostly flat). All the staff are super helpful and took time to get to know their guests. Maria and Phaedra on reception were lovely and very engaging. They suggested restaurants and places to visit to make the most of our stay. However, if you just want a chill out holiday this is the place to be. We will definite return to this beautiful hotel. Have just experienced 2 perfect weeks at the Azur Retreat.|This wonderful immaculate , boutique hotel has an amazing, quiet location overlooking Vathy Bay, with yachts gkiding by, and is a very short walk from plenty of excellent, authentic tavernas serving fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes. |We chose not to have a car, and that wasn't a problem at all. There are 2 beaches nearby and Phaedra, (the friendliest receptionist ever!) organised a private boat excursion for us, so we spent 4 hours one day, going around the island, stopping at caves and beaches only accessible by boat.|All the staff, including housekeeping and the waiting staff were fantastic and made our stay 100% perfect.
