Wow! What a treat. We love eating in Greece, and the whole food and drink in the outdoors vibe, but this took the experience to a new level. Smart and stylish decor but inclusive and unfussy. Lighting was superb; highlighting the bold features but remaining subdued and intimate. The food deserves serious attention. It was so fresh and tasty that I savoured every bite and even minimised talking (uncommon for me) just so I could relish the different and complimentary flavours. We were in a party of four and enjoyed sharing starters and mains between us - a great decision that allowed us all to enjoy the different offerings. We had the pleasure of dining at Fisherman's Restaurant in Vathy, Meganisi, and it was an exceptional experience. My wife, two kids, and I enjoyed a delightful dinner that exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The quality and quantity of each dish were superb, leaving us fully satisfied. Fantastic food and dining experience and great service! We had the pleasure of meeting chef/owner Kostas and his mother at a private BBQ they prepared at our home and learned about his new restaurant so we booked immediately for the next day. First thing we noticed when we arrived was the completely different and very welcoming restaurant setting. The staff is fantastic (thank you Xenofon!) and the food is simply great and plated beautifully. This is not the typical Greek taverna in terms of menu and prices, but a very welcome alternive in many ways.
