Maria Hotel S.A. — Hotel in Metsovo Municipality

I'm so glad I am the first one to review this Inn. My only wish is that I would have taken pictures to post for the readers. ||||This was my second time running the mountain trail race in Metsovo and the second time the travel agency Kassos Travel put me up in the Mari. Remarkably I got the same room as last year which was a nice surprise too. ||||The Mari is at the bottom of the hill and only about 200 meters walk away from the main square of the village which is where you will find the traditional shops, bars, kafes and a few taverns. The village itself is surrounded by mountains covered in alpine for the most part and frequented by bears. Absolutely beautiful.||||The Mari is a budget accommodation with everything one would need. It is very clean and tidy. It is cozy and has some nice views of the mountain range. Breakfast is offered and at least for us they had a nice spread with many different options (thanks). But out of all this one will find that the Genuine Hospitality and concern the owners have for their guest is nothing short of being Stellar! They made sure to tell us about the race event and where things were, they checked up on us frequently to see if everything was ok and when we asked about breakfast the response was, "When would you like breakfast." Of course me and my buddy weren't going to request a special time to have our breakfast but I found it all to be a very nice gesture. The owners and staff were always smiling (real smiles, not fake smiles) and if not at the reception desk they were next to it in the living-room/lobby have coffee with friends or family. Αγενέστατη συμπεριφορά με κρυμμένα τέλη και διαφορετική τιμή από αυτή που κλείσαμε στο booking. Μέσα σε όλα, η εύσωμη κυρία μας ενημέρωσε τελευταία στιγμή ότι δε μπορούμε να πληρώσουμε με δυο κάρτες και ότι επιθυμούσαν ένα ποσό να καταβληθεί από κάρτα και το υπόλοιπο υπονοήσαν να δωθεί μαύρα. Και σαν δεν έφτανε αυτό ξεκίνησε να μας φωνάζει και να απαιτεί να την ευχαριστήσουμε για τη διαμονή σε μία τρώγλη και μισή και για την απαίσια συμπεριφορά της. Μην μείνετε εκεί με τίποτα!
