We didn’t stay here but used the pool and bar on two separate days. It’s absolutely lovely - quiet, plenty of sun loungers, reasonably priced food. As a non-guest you’re expected to spend 10 euros per adult, which was fine by us and the first day we spent about 25 each.
Yet for some reason any request for food/drinks seemed to irritate the owners. They were some of the rudest people I’ve ever met in Greece, sadly. I don’t know why asking for a continental breakfast, which is on their menu, at 10.30 am made them sigh, throw their arms in the air and generally talk to me like I was something they’d peeled off their shoe, but there we are.
I was there to spend money, and this appeared to offend them deeply. I also speak fluent Greek, something I didn’t tell them as I listened to them moan and whine about customers.
We are very quiet, well-behaved people asking for nothing unusual.
So either offer food and drinks and provide the minimum level of basic respect for customers, or just don’t offer anything. Don’t take a stinking, awful attitude to customers innocently asking for items YOU put on YOUR MENU.

Read moreRecently stayed at these apartments for a week and they are highly recommended. |Just a few minor quibbles...|the apartment was quite dark, and the shower was too small, though we got used to it by the end.|The bed was really comfortable, air conditioning was free as was the safe (though we couldn't use ours as there was no key and there was no replacement!)|The outside area was lovely, grounds maintained well, lovely bar area and a large pool and childs pool. Also a play area for the children with swings, slides and toys etc.|Nina the owner was lovely, very helpful with any questions/queries I had and let us keep the room for an extra 4 hours with no charge.|The location was great, just about 2 minutes walk down a path at the side of the Lemon Tree bar. Then you were on the main road with a few restaurants/bars/shops and supermarkets. Turn right at the Lemon Tree and less than 5 minutes you are at the beach where there were quite few lovely restaurants. |Quite a small resort but very pretty with lovely sunsets as you sit at one of the restaurants...
Read moreLoved staying here - in the blue suite two bedroom apartment. Extremely spacious and well equipped flat, with three gorgeous balconies. We could see the sea and the sunset from our bedroom balcony. Also very private with own stair case. ||We’ve been visiting Agios Gordios for many years and often visited Poseidon for the pool and bar. The pool is large, and perfect for all ages. There is a separate baby pool, and then the main pool has a shallow and deep end with a diving board. It is in a lovely setting - very green, great views, nice garden. And the bar has fantastic cocktails and reasonably priced wine/beer and food. Lovely staff. ||I’m so pleased we stayed at Poseidon, and will definitely stay in the blue suite again. It’s been the most comfortable peaceful accommodation we’ve had so far in AG, over our many visits. Great for a family (we’re two adults and two kids...
