Funky Land — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Horrible experience. Seemed promising at first, we got a beach side table, ordered drinks and they came quick. Then the waiter didn't come back. We asked other staff 3 times to help find our waiter so we could order food. He came back about 30 minutes later. We ordered beet salad and mussels appetizers. Beet salad was a can of sliced beets dumped on a plate with some parsley and nothing more. We asked if it was from a can and they wouldn't answer. Then came the mussels. We tried eating them but spit them out because they didn't taste right so we sent them back. The risotto with prawns came next. We had a few bites but had to stop eating because we started feeling sick from the mussels. The manager then came over and argued with us when we told him the mussels weren't good. At that point we were done. He took the mussels and beet salad off the bill and told us if we got sick to go to the hospital and come back with the paperwork and then he would refund our money. The guy at the table next to us had the seafood mixed grill and then spent 30 minutes in the bathroom after eating. Avoid...

: Good food (Good Cook). Well positioned. : but spoiled by the really bad and unprofessional service of the waiters, Overpriced (add-on fees unaccounted for. (e.g. 2.5€ for splashing a bit of Paemesan over pasta), Lack of class and courtoisy for an expensive restaurant, Menu doesn't reflect reality,

It was my gf's birthday, I at least expected some decency of service. Sadely, we left unsatisfied with the place.

We ordered dinner from some teared up menus they gave us, then I asked for a cake to celebrate her birthday, their overall attitude was non chairful, rude and negative, 3 waiters serving us, 2 of which are kids with 0 customer oriented attitude, not even a smile for her b-day or a wish out of courtoisy (expected for a restaurant where you pay over 50€ easy). They promised chocolate cake with fruits and coco ice-cream for her b-day cake. They ended up bringing us 2 pieces of small cake with half melted vanilla ice...

The worst restaurant we visited in Corfu!! We sat down and checked out the menu. It seemed ok, I decided to order the sofrito from the special menu as I have a cheese allergy and this was a safe choice however when it came the whole dish was covered in parmesan cheese.i explained that I had an allergy and the meal was replaced after another 15 minutes. The wait wasn't helped when the good had no taste and the chips were cheap frozen chips. We ordered the bill and I aost chocked when it came and my dish was 21.80. ....... I have had this dish in many other restaurants and it's always been around 10 or 11 euros. When we questioned it they told me that's how much it is. I couldn't believe it!!!

My advice would be to stay away from this place at all costs. The food is cheap and not very flovoursome, the staff are average at best and the specials menu items are so overpriced it's a joke no wonder they don't show the prices...
