Kanso Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Kanso rooms is in a more "residential-looking" neighborhood just 10 min driving from Chania. Our room was very spacious (except for the bathroom), with big comfortable bed, good closet space and a large terrace with table, chairs, loungers and a sun umbrella. Well equipped kitchen also. The room was very tastefully decorated with attention to detail. The aircon is one of the best I have ever had during summer holidays, very quiet and without light in sleep mode - very important for sensitive sleepers like me. Pool is not super big but it was bever crowded and has a few loungers and bean bags. Parking space inside the gated property though I never saw the gates closed. We had a very nice stay overall.

Note: There are a LOT of cats at the property, which at night like to follow you to your room. For some this might not be as fun as for me, so I thought needed mentioning. Seems like many live in the property as there is an area with cat sand trays, food and water for them. Great to see that they are cared for but I saw some males which were not neutered - I really really hope they take them to...

A great find and fantastic value for money. We spent 5 nights here with my girlfriend and I can highly recommend this place. Very clean throughout and with nice decorative touches which make the cozy space come together. The location is absolutely spot on if you want to rent a car and explore the Western part of Chania and its gorgeous beaches - and only 15 mins drive from Chania city (which has a real issue with parking spots). The rooms are equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast or a small meal and what we found very thoughtful was that some olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and some oregano were provided - coffee as well. This is important to mention as usually in this kind of serviced apartments you don’t find those essentials being provided and it goes to show how the owners really care about the guests. Finally, bear in mind that there are lots of cats in Chania and at Kanso the owners are kind enough to take care of a bunch of cats which you will see walking around the property… they are all vaccinated and very playful - we loved having...

From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees.||||The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice.||||You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! ||||It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments.||||Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. ||||To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it!||||You’ll see us DEFINITELY again!||||Thanks for...
