Omnia Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

Our worst experience after traveling to 10s of countries. Villa was dirty, thrashed and not ready when we got there. Only after we called, the host scrambled to get the cleaners in but they rushed thru. It wasn’t Covid ready and there were plumbing issues also that had to be addressed while we waited. When we got back, the keys wouldn’t work thru the main entry which was thru the garage. We were forced to enter thru the side door. Outside lighting was minimal, security a concern. They tried to accommodate us in another place close by which did not look acceptable to us. ||We refused to stay and left the villa at around mid-night. ||Firstly, the reservation was made by Booking.com as an alternative. The host Anna and Stell were easy to talk to on the phone and available on WhatsApp. The communication was clear that we will be reaching there at 7:30 PM. Stella assured us that the place would be ready.||First impression when we got there was the villa looked good from the outside but then was downhill after that.||Lugging the bags thru steep road (really steep) as our van couldn’t get there was challenging. The entrance is thru garage, security to get the keys was comical, once we got in, we had to take the bags back up thru an elevator (that was nice).||Once we got up, we had the shock of our life; the kitchen was completely thrashed by the previous guests, checked the rest of the rooms at different levels and they were in the similar state including plumbing broken. When I called Stella, she was apologetic and assured it will be addressed asap. When the cleaner came in after 30 minutes, they weren’t happy with the state that the villa was in and all the cleaning they had to do at that time of the night. We sat out for the next three hours with kids, our bags and me frantically making calls to get this addressed. While we waited, the host Stella offered another accommodation that was similarly bad and we had NO confidence in them after this fiasco. So refused. I reported this immediately to the booking agent.||While waiting, we tried the restaurant next door which was also terrible. At around 11:30 PM, after Stella notified us that the villa was ready, we tried to enter thru the garage and the keys wouldn’t work. For the next half hour we were on a call with Stella and she made us enter thru a side door near the pool on the first floor. We felt very unsafe and that was the last straw, we returned the keys and left the place. ||Omni villa was our worst experience, the host & management incapable of addressing issues, and this place should be delisted so that others don’t go thru...

It's the best choice for villa in Chania cause of location and amazing impressive view to the city from the hill. Willa is light and great designed with all what u'll need in ur trip. There r 4 floors with parking lot for 2 cars per villa, kitchen and dining zone, zone for chill, elevator, 3 bedrooms with their own bathes, nice yard with sun chairs and umbrella, and at the end the top of it - infiniti pool. Oh yeah just forgot u'll see even banana tree there. The manager will give u a best advices and concierge service. Villa is clean and ready to make ur trip...

Ich kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es ist wirklich noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Wir waren zu sechst dort. Der Pool ist perfekt und das Kochen macht in der schönen Küche sehr viel Spaß. In der Nähe gibt es kleine Minimärkte, bei denen man alles bekommt. Die Reinigung des Hauses war auch toll. Die Agents sind super hilfsbereit und haben einen exzellenten Service. Wir hatten kein Mietauto, in die Stadt kommt man gut mit dem Bus und für andere Orte kann man einen Transfer buchen.
