Arrived very late in the evening. Rang the bell on reception, the barman came from the bar to check us in. He said, “one minute.” Then went back to the bar to deal with customers. He then stopped to have a drink and a chat with other customers. I rang the bell again. He came back and snapped. “I said one minute.”….. Great start. I gave him all the printed paperwork. He said that he needed an accommodation voucher. I explained that it was all the paperwork I had from easyJet. He was rather unfriendly. I eventually pointed out the paperwork that had my accommodation details and were shown to our studio.
Pros The room was nice but basic. Clean comfortable beds. Great shower and decent sized balcony. Basic cooking equipment, 2 ring hob and electric kettle. 5-10 minutes to the beach and restaurants. Rooms cleaned twice a week.
Cons. Early check out time of 10.00 We had a 19.30 transfer so attempted to pay to keep the room on. Was told we could only keep the room until 2pm as they were fully booked. At a cost of 25€. This wasn’t practical for us so we had to pay for another room at a nearby hotel for the day so we could spend the day on the beach and shower before we flew home. There is no courtesy room to shower and change if you have a late transfer. Air con is 8€ per day. Safety deposit box 15€ per week. These hotels are making a fortune by charging guests for these basic amenities. All said not a bad hotel. The female receptionist and manager were very friendly and helpful. Due to the early check out time and no courtesy room I wouldn’t...
Read moreWe know this area quite well so knew the location was good. Room kept clean and all other staff were nice, except for the rude barman. Seen other people commenting on the fact that we arrived on a late evening flight and when being checked in,he insisted on a accommodation voucher for our stay, this doesn't even exist as all booked through easyjet and showed him the paperwork and emails to prove our booking. Was still not enough so was told rudely to email in the morning. Never spoke to us since our arrival so avoided the bar area because he was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable. We checked out,and paid to keep our room for a extra 35 euros as there is no complimentary room to wash/shower if you have a late flight. We handed our keys back to the barman when we checked out and not even a thank you or pleasant trip, nothing the man is just rude and because of this we will think again before staying here again. We have already booked our hotel next year somewhere else as we love the area but such a shame when you experience rudeness...
Read moreThe rooms were clean and very basic, but lacked essential amenities, such as a hair dryer. The shower quickly became blocked, so you could only shower for a short time. Both the pillow and mattress were extremely uncomfortable. ||We chose to avoid breakfast after reading poor reviews, and others we spoke to confirmed it was as bad as reported- unappetizing and not worth trying.||The location is okay if you’re young and active, as the walk to Stalis wasn’t an issue for us. However, older guests may find the hill and distance challenging, as we saw when speaking to others. ||The biggest letdown was the staff. The main man at reception, who also served at the bar frequently, was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Despite our efforts to be polite and make conversation, we couldn’t even get a simple “hi” from him. His attitude was cold and dismissive throughout our stay, which impacted the overall atmosphere.||Sadly, we won’t...
