Infinity Hotel Gytheio — Hotel in Municipality of East Mani

The location is amazing - the view is breath taking and the customer orientation from the personell working is superb however we left the hotel with mixed feelings predominately coming from the pricing we paid via booking.com (234 euro for 3 pax) - paying 234 Euro per night creates specific expectations that the hotel doesn’t offers.

We are a group of 3 (2 adults-and a teenager 16yrs) and as such we always look for big 3 people room or 2 room, however from booking.com we reserved a 3 bed room - obviously we own an element of responsibility in this but also prudence on the pricing needs to be existing from the hotel Management. A price per night of 234 Euro can’t be justified from the current hotel Services … irrespective of if booking.com is charging you a cancellation fee (ie u need to offer realistic base prices on the platforms…)

So points to be raised: Despite the superb location the hotel is situated in a steep hill being located in multiple levels - HOWEVER no elevators were operating having to pull Your luggage’s over more than 52 stairs in 2 or 3 floors There was no available staff to help us (the guy making coffees had to be despatched to help us as such cafe bar was without staff while the person was helping us..) The elevators wasn’t operating for long period and now was the peak of the tourist season hence the owners / managers didn’t care at all - however they do offer super expensive pricing on booking platforms Strange feeling the fact that reception told us that if we have contacted them directly they could have offered better pricing (some how canibalising existing business relations with platforms) The room was very small and packed for 3 persons above 1.70 cm AC was very loud and we had to turn off in order to sleep however the location is east hence from 0630 the sun was on our room making it a sauna The sound from water pipes was very strong and sleeping was challenging The water faucet in the bathroom tub didn’t flow properly having to wash our teeth in the shower The shower cabin floor Drain was broken and dirty - I could imagine that this could have been an entry of insects too Surround areas of the hotel Were dirty (see pictures) The pool indeed is an oasis of styling and location but poorly maintained and definitely dirty Hotel does have parking facility but spots are few only and if you return late you need to find a spot in the surrounding heavily urbanized cliff making parking challenging

Closing I will Say that the location is amazing and the personell kind, helpful, hospitable and service oriented - the breakfast buffet amazing and tasty but the pricing of 234 euro per Night created an expectation that made me very sensitive in the attention to details and there are areas of improvement...

Update Ιούλιος '23: Όλα παραμένουν τα ίδια στο infinity, η καθαριότητα εξακολουθεί να είναι εξαιρετική. Ευχάριστη έκπληξη ήταν το πρωινό που έχει εμπλουτιστεί με τοπικά εδέσματα, πίτες και τηγανητά αυγά που διατηρούνταν ζεστά.

To Infinity ήταν για εμάς μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη, όταν το ανακαλύψαμε πρώτη φορά τον περασμένο Νοέμβριο. Η πρώτη μας διαμονή ήταν λίγο πριν κλείσει το ξενοδοχείο, λόγω και κορονοϊού και επερχόμενου lockdown. Η δεύτερη τώρα, αρχές Ιουλίου. Είναι ένα καινούριο ξενοδοχείο, χτισμένο στην πλαγιά του Ακούμαρου, κοντά στην παραλία Δεμέστιχα, στο Μαυροβούνι του Γυθείου. Εντυπωσιαστήκαμε από τις λιτές γραμμές, τη minimal διακόσμηση, την αστραφτερή καθαριότητα και την υπέροχη θέα (όλα τα δωμάτια έχουν θέα θάλασσα). Επειδή επισκεφτόμαστε με τον σύζυγό μου τακτικά το Γύθειο, λόγω καταγωγής από την περιοχή, μπορώ να πω ότι δεν έχουμε βρει μονάδα στο Γύθειο που να συνδυάζει και τα τρία αυτά χαρακτηριστικά. Ίσως το θρυλικό Lakonis, όταν με το καλό ανοίξει πάλι, αλλά σίγουρα θα είναι στο τριπλάσιο (το λιγότερο) της τιμής του Infinity.

Άλλα πλεονεκτήματα που εκτιμήσαμε δεόντως: υπέρδιπλο κρεβάτι με ανατομικό στρώμα Candia, ευχαριστηθήκαμε ύπνο καταπληκτικός κλιματισμός (όχι μονάδα aircondition). Παρόλο που το δωμάτιό μας ήταν στον τελευταίο όροφο, κρύωσε αμέσως. Συρόμενες σίτες στις μπαλκονόπορτες. Πάντα παίρνω μαζί μου αντικουνουπικά, αλλά δεν χρειάστηκαν! Ηχομόνωση, άψογα κουφώματα. Κάτω ακριβώς από το ξενοδοχείο είναι ο κεντρικός δρόμος, αλλά όταν κλείνεις τη μπαλκονόπορτα δεν ακούς τίποτα. Το μπαλκόνι έχει σκιά από το μεσημέρι και μετά. Μετά το πρωινό μπάνιο καθόμασταν στο μπαλκόνι μας και αγναντεύαμε τη θάλασσα. Καθημερινή καθαριότητα, από την πρώτη μέρα διαμονής Εξαιρετικό Wi-Fi Parking έξω από το ξενοδοχείο Ευγενικό προσωπικό Πολύ καλό πρωινό

Μικρές βελτιώσεις που μπορούν να γίνουν: Στην καμπίνα του ντους υπάρχει ένα dispenser με ένα πασπαρτού υγρό σαπούνι (μαλλιά + σώμα). Μπορεί αυτό να είναι ό,τι πρέπει για τους άντρες, αλλά για τις γυναίκες (ειδικά με μακριά μαλλιά) δεν... Επειδή το είχα δει από την πρώτη φορά που μείναμε, είχα φροντίσει να έχω μαζί μου τα δικά μου είδη, αλλά καλό θα ήταν να υπάρχουν έξτρα bathroom amenities Θα ήταν καλό να υπάρχει κάποια μικρή απλώστρα για τα μαγιο και τις πετσέτες. Ειδικά το καλοκαίρι, που πηγαίνουμε για μπάνιο.Το μπαλκονάκι έχει χώρο, και θα βόλευε κάποια οικογένεια για παράδειγμα. Εμείς είμαστε δύο και βολευτήκαμε απλώνοντάς τα στις καρέκλες, no big deal.

Θεωρούμε ότι το ξενοδοχείο αυτό είναι η τέλεια επιλογή για ζευγάρια με μεταφορικό μέσο. Τα σκαλιά που χρειάζεται να κατέβεις για το ξενοδοχείο και η έλλειψη ασανσέρ (είναι προς το παρόν οut of order) πιθανότατα δυσκολεύει οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά και ηλικιωμένους. Για εμάς όμως, που επιζητούμε θέα, ηρεμία και καθαριότητα και είμαστε λάτρεις της minimal αισθητικής είναι η τέλεια επιλογή και το απόλυτο vfm...

Infinity Hotel in my favorite place, Gythio! It’s a welcoming and spotless space, perfect for relaxation and comfort! The staff is helpful and cheerful! The breakfast is absolutely delicious and has everything your heart desires! There is convenient parking on site, and the comfort the hotel provides offers ultimate enjoyment! It’s an ideal place for all ages and families!

Its location is easily accessible for exploring Mani, Gythio, and Monemvasia! I must also highlight the balcony—something you simply can’t part with. That’s where I enjoy my breakfast, my coffee, and my evening drink because the view is breathtaking!

As an artist, I draw inspiration and find peace in nature! The sunrise, with the deep blue color of the sea and sky, offers a magical moment— a unique feeling of happiness called Infinity!
